Lost Hope is a 2D Zombie Shooter, you play a character called Erik, you lived in a small city but after the news came that a dangerous disease has broken out and mutates insanely fast, too fast to cure, the infected have been seen eating noninfected people, so Erik didn't think twice and took his chance to run away with a pistol he had for self-defense. 

After a long walk, he came by a small camp surrounded by trees and a secure fence far away from civilization, overall a very safe space. The people of the camp didn't want to end capitalism just for some infectious disease so they force you to buy stuff from them to keep the currency running. But Erik hasn't lost the hope to cure this disease even if 80% of the population has been infected, he knows he will save everyone. Even if he has to sacrifice a few infected for it...
