LostWinds reviews and comments

Nice little game (apparently it is a port of the Wii) is played only on keyboard mouse, no gamepad. One embodies a child who can not jump (right and left only) but who uses the power of the wind to move. LostWinds 2 is the direct sequel to LostWinds (the 2 should be in only one set of gears) small bug: in can only go to the right and left but the key mapping is in English A and D instead of Q and D (not possible to remapped the keys and even putting his OS in QWERTY the mapping is not good). Overall it's not super annoying and you can also use the directional arrow

First of all, before I start, I want to say that I bought LostWinds and LostWinds 2 on steam with the offer, which allowed me to buy volume 1 and volume 2 at the same time. It is the story of a young hero who has to save his village from a wicked monster who once was nice. The game ends in 2-4 hours and is a mixed of puzzles and adventure. We can, for example, solve the riddle where you have to move the character with the help of stone that we put on a switch, where you have to explode walls, doors and floors to get a path to the sequel. This game may require the help of an adult for the youngest. Indeed, some puzzles may not be understood or misunderstand. A gentle music, some shudder breezes. The sound, in its greatness is of good quality despite a fairly repetitive side. In addition, the music when we cross an enemy is quite disturbing, too abrupt. Graphics are good qualities for a game of this magnitude. In this game, the main goal is to find the 4 chests that allow you to get information from the Sage Deo to finally lead us to the final fight. We also have a secondary quest that is to find the 24 statuettes of the game (1 for each room). I didn't really appreciate the movement of the character. Indeed, it takes well 30min, 1h to know how to control it (arrows of the keyboard, mouse) even if it is possible to change the keys seems to me. The mouse is used to perform all the interaction with the character or the décor. It is possible to move fire by using a breeze, it is possible to grow plants using water. The hardest with the mouse will remain to make the circles for the wormhole. To summarize the whole, there are good graphics, the puzzles are not too difficult (you have to have a semblance of logic), the rhythm is slow (no time limit imposed), success easy to achieve, soundtrack joking except at the sight of enemies. So I put this game a score of 16/20 for my criticism. PS: I remind you that this is my criticism, I may not quote all the elements, it may not suit you.
