Mafia II: Definitive Edition reviews and comments
Played the opening Italy WW2 mission. It was rough. The gameplay feels rough I should say. I can’t remember the first feeling so slidy. I might get used to it. We will see. I remember I liked the story of the first and that was a big reason why I enjoyed it. So hopefully this one captures my attention as well.
Why is the audio so fucking bad? It goes quite then loud like mid conversation.
Calling this the definitive edition is a stretch. Graphics are pretty rough still.
First two chapters were boring. I did not like. Hopefully it gets better or I’m bailing. The first had a more intriguing story which made up for the other flaws. This one doesn’t have that yet.
Nope not doing it. This isn’t hitting the way the first did and the gameplay is really bad. Not wasting my time.
Final Score: B-

Fantastic game with great characters and setting. Shite port, though. Can't really recommend it in its current state. I'm not even able to get the platinum trophy, as a trophy is bugged. Shambles.
