Magnetic Bonds (magbo)

Magnetic Bonds merges the Visual Novel and JRPG genre to create a streamlined JRPG experience. Players explore a science-fantasy universe, befriending characters and building relationships as they progress through the story and take down enemies and bosses using fast-paced  turn-based battle system that emphasizes chaining attacks together and exploiting enemy weaknesses. For those that simply want to enjoy the story, all battles can be easily skipped without sacrificing narrative content.

Current Game Length: 7½-8 hours depending on pace

Completed Game Length: 15-20 hours [Progress made in this demo will carry over to the completed game]

Current Release State

The game is just over 50% complete, and your progress in this demo build will carry over to the finished game. I hope to be fully completed with the game in two subsequent updates by the end of Summer 2023, but since I am not working on the game full-time, it may take me a little longer than anticipated.

I would like to add additional features and minigames depending on player feedback.
