A Beau rogue (even if we don't like retro graphics, they do the job and are perfectly readable in action) Lite fun and solid and mastered gameplay.
A big plus for the surprising AI and the combos run by the monsters, it really spice up the difficulty at times.
For the negatives: the French translation not terrible but that to the merit to be understandable..

A very nice game. Easy to use and control. We like the old pixel genre as well. Its only flaw: a large lack of content and diversification. For a game having 5 months of existence it is partially forgivable. I know they also released a switch version but at this rate the game will quickly choke like a blaze of fire which would be a pity because it has a lot of potential.

Product received for free has the question "isn't there too much rogue-like top down shooter?" I will answer without hesitation No. As soon as the game is good, there is room for everyone and when I saw the presentation video of Mana spark I immediately wanted to test it.
Rather classically, we are directing a character sinking into proceonally generated dungeons. Armed with a bow, he can shoot all around him and dodge enemy attacks using a roll. Many passive bonuses are to be collected (increased damage, life points, poisoned shots, speed boots...) and you can also pick up an active power (automatic turret, Wolf Trap, icing bomb and so on).
As in all games of the genre you will have to empty each room of its occupants to unlock access to the next. Eliminating everything that moves will also allow you to get gold coins and orbs. The first are obviously to be spent in the "store" and the others will serve you at the end of the game to improve your village. In the course of your essays, various NPC (Blacksmith, historian...) will settle there to offer you their services in exchange of orbs. You will be able to choose your starting abilities after you have unlocked them graphically the title is quite successful and essential thing, the character responds perfectly and is nice to control.
The whole remains on the other hand very classic and I confess that I would not have been against a little more variety as well at the level of the enemies who are finally quite few that at the level of the bosses that we always face in the same order (two or three different level would have been better). But hey, for a game sold at low prices we're not going to make the mouth and if you like the rogue like/top down I'm sure that Mana spark will offer you a few hours of fun.
PS: let the game in English, the French translation made by the community is armored with fouls, I held about 30s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OVh50HOI48
