Māori Community Farm

The Māori Community Farm explores how the indigenous Māori community is reclaiming their land and their history with it. In particular this game focuses on the life of a Māori man who seeks to reconnect with his heritage by exploring traditional methods of farming sweet potatoes. 

The game is set in his rundown backyard where you must reclaim the land from the weeds and turn it into the small farm he wishes he has. You learn to remove weeds, prepare the soil and plant potatoes. Unfortunately due to time challenges fertilising the potatoes didn’t make it into the game.

Warning - there is currently no set ending so there’s no need to weed the entire garden or anything as drastic as that… do as much as you want to do and enjoy the experience

Controls:

WASD - Movement

Mouse - Looking around

Left Click - Do selected action

Scroll / Number Keys - Switch selected action (shown bottom left by highlighted icon)

ESC - Gives option to exit game - clicking ESC again shows number of potatoes grown then closes game - clicked left click resumes gameplay
