Picturesque Journey through time That playfully doesn't quite convince Story: You take on the Role of the emerging Dutch Dancer Mata Hari and are hired as a Spy in Paris. You salted some Relationships, others you sweeten until your Camouflage finally stands, and you become a double or multiple spy. In the Hope of averting the War, you are selling information and sabotaging highly interesting Developments of the Time (!!). There are supposed to be alternative Endings. Can war be averted?
Gameplay: The Game boasts the Women's Weapons, which sounds very promising and innovative at first. But Is this such a great new Innovation? First, the Game starts at a Party where you sow Discord with Lies (which is much funnier than you expect when you have a certain saboteurical Vein). You learn how to "Deal" with Men and even follow them into the Bedroom. Overall, the Game is very dialogue-heavy. Actually, it's enough to click through stupide until you get what you want. If you don't crack a Man right away, it only translates into the Rating (which is completely unimportant for the course Of The Game). To perform Actions or Conversations, draw an Inventory Icon to the Person you want (something in need of getting used to). Unfortunately, there are many Mini-Games that are constantly repeating themselves and rob the classical Adventurist of the last Nerve. Thanks to the Developers, there is a panic button that ends a Game immediately (successfully).
The Duration of The game is about 5 Hours in real terms, 20 (!!). Maybe you get to 10 if you take every mini game with you. If the Game wasn't so awkward, the Game time would be a lot shorter. For example, to get from one Big City to another by train, click through the Taxi, the Ticket Office, and then pass a Mini-Game ... And you really have to travel around all the time.
The Puzzles: By and large very different and imaginative. Thanks to panic button, frustration rarely comes up. Sometimes, though, the "Puzzles" are really stupid. For example, you are in Spain, want to tap into a Phone, but you are missing a Listener. So you head to Berlin because there's a public Phone there, which probably no one misses (!?!). Armed With the stolen Earpiece, you can listen back to the still ongoing Conversation in Spain. The Spaniards probably Drank real Sabbbelish. By the Way, you're chatting through the endless Dialogues with Rail Staff and Taxi Drivers ...
The Atmosphere: The Graphics have been very successful. Although everything looks drawn, comichaft and less 3D, this makes the Cities look Very picturesque. Time-top hit with Prussian Flags in Berlin, for example, and a always suitably dressed Mata Hari, you have the Feeling of immersing yourself in another Time. The Setting is also quite flawless and the Sound rarely disturbing (only when Dancing, but that's due to the Kind of mini game).
Verdict: The Game arguably has its Ups and Downs. Super interesting Starting points in Espionage and self-determined Flow of Information, some of which have been well picked up, but unfortunately have been playfully spoiled by a very strong Linearity up to the stupidityaturation of boredom. Overall, a convincing Journey through time with time-specific Very imaginative Puzzles, which, however, come across ridiculously alongside some unimaginative Mini-Games.
