MegaChess

MegaChess is the evolution of chess. It discards planning and strategy by allowing any piece to move with the randomly assigned behaviour each turn. The dictator must still be protected, but now any piece could be the threat.

In the year 2026 it was decided that Chess was no longer a game that attracted the interest of the human race. The planning and strategy was a boring distraction from the bright light soaked lives of the social networking masses. It lacked constant feedback, it lacked excitement to keep their brains engaged.

The overlords of earth noticed this in a moment of clarity.

They acted and seeded the idea of a modified version of the game. Uploading it directly to the social networks of Earth. They gave it the title MegaChess (because they knew it would sound cool) and it became a viral hit.

Players could attack and score and explode things WOOO!

This is MegaChess.
