Mercy Break

Join your friends in  a free for all battle on an abandoned island.  Up to 8 players can join the battle and fight for the top of the leaderboard.

Inspired by the Battle Royal hype you spawn with nothing and have to loot for weapons. Getting kills rewards you with money and points. Points get you to the top of the leaderboard , whereas money lets you buy weapons, ammunition and items. But be careful once you get killed you drop all of your stuff and a percentage of your money is stolen and transfered to the killing player.

This leads to a skirmish  full of snowballing and hunting for the richest players. With the possibilities for great comebacks.

Explosives and destructibles are scattered throughout the map for the possibility of tactical  plays. Aswell as two  snipers which are only accessible by blowing up the gas stations, which will alert the other players to converge on you.

All parameters such as damage,  money earned for a kill or the percentage of money stolen when a player is killed are all adjustable in the Lobby, so you can customize the game to your liking.

Left  Mouse:  Fire
Right Mouse (Hold): Aim
Right Mouse (Click): Scope In
Middle Mouse (Click): Change Camera
Scroll: Change Weapon
R: Reload
B: Toggle Weapon Firing Mode

This project was started in 2017 (hence the battle royal inspiration) and finished in 2019. I had this sitting on my hard drive and thought I might aswell publish it.
