Sonic Adventure 2 reviews and comments
Completed as of writing this review: 100%.
As its own game, it's good, but as the sequel, this game is not on par with Sonic Adventure. I get what they tried to do: cut down on the first game's problems and create more quality than quantity. However, it kind of backfired, since I think 2 of the gameplay styles weren't looked at as much as should've. Not to mention the 100% completion route, which was a chore for me to do. Some of the moments can clearly drive you insane, or make you be bored to death. I exaggerate of course. As far as the base game goes, it's one of the best Sonic games out there, that will never be repeated ever again.

«Beaten more than once»
Simultaneously better and worse than the review implies. Very bad in certain aspects and yet, there's something entrancing about it (although it's almost definitely nostalgia) and the Shadow the Hedgehog story is legitimately good, if a little sparse- although that's, you know, to be expected from a game of this kind.
