Monument-a shooter in the spirit of "old school", designed and released by the man-Orchestra, who made the whole game himself.
Plot... Perhaps This is the quote of the notorious John Carmack: The Plot in the game-as a story in a sex movie. It has to be, but it's not important. As such the plot in the game is not traced, but if it is not, it is a great opportunity to come up with it yourself.
Gameplay game resembles the end of the 90s and start zero: Quake 2, Painliller, Serious Sam. Here We walk, destroy crowds of opponents, periodically solving puzzles in the style of "search for a button to open the exit." And all this is under a rather relevant and not annoying soundtrack. There is no regeneration of health-want to live? Look for the first aid kit! Quite interesting Arsenal: Starting some kind of pistol and ending with Plasmogan. A Variety of opponents: pieces of meat attacking in hand-to-hand, potato with eyes, which is throwing Tesaki, green burning logs Pratteschie on you crowd-their all quite fun to shoot. Each level is also quite original, for example in one we pass the entire level on the platform, firing from opponents.
To the question of graphics... I Want to ask you a question, because I had never thought about it before. If The game is positioning itself as an "Oldschool shooter", then should there be some advanced graphics or should it match its colleagues in the shop?
In General, Monument is perfect as a game for the evening, BUT without minuses never happens and here they are also: 1. Duration-In the game only six small levels and tighten the game starts only at the end of the third and when your interest catches the peak... Game breaks. Seriously, it was very frustrating when I passed the sixth level, ran on the menu to open the next, and there... No problem. I would not say that the game should be huge and occupy the passage of a huge number of hours, but a couple of levels would not have prevented.
2. Bugs with the engine, namely: Physics Regdolov (there Was a moment when the falling corpse threw me into the abyss in the lava and my character died), frequent sticking to the walls, inability to open the door, if it was NPC B and other joys of Unity Engine.
And in general the game is good, really good. And If you like projects in the spirit of "old school", then boldly buy this project, especially as it costs only 100 rubles.

Good... Well I finished it. It took me two hours.
This is clearly the biggest flaw in the game... But there are still many others: all hitboxes are buggy: that of the enemies (sometimes you shoot clearly on them, but the game decided that it would not affect them), that of the objects/platforms, you find yourself then blocked!
Then the game is objectively ugly. But to be honest, I liked it, it reminded me of unreal, so nostalgia took over.
The music is... metal, that's clear! You'll love it or not, but what I can say is that it sticks moderately to the universe, it looks like a bunch of metalheads is defusing, more than anything else.
Gameplay level, we earn points: this mix of platform and FPS typical of the genre is really fun. Each level has a challenge: a maze, a level with a platform that advances on its own, a level with several halls each with its own lot of enemies, etc. It's not crazy, but it avoids the monotony you can fear.
History level... There are no... I think that in a way, it avoids the wrong scenario...
Personally, I liked the game. I still put a red thumb, because it is purely subjective. I can hardly advise the game but the nostalgic of this time will surely find the way to fight their way to the end, just like me!
EDIT: I relaunched two minutes, story to see if I had forgotten anything. Here are a few things about you distaste a little more: in the options, you have a key assigned to the normal shot, a secondary shot and one last for the third shot. That's cool... but there is only one shot on the weapons...
Speaking of "one": there is only one possible backup.
And finally, know that the game is... Simple. I mean that when you click on new game, the game starts, direct, without notice, no choice of difficulty or any other, or even a small message asking you if you are sure to want to erase your part already in progress. Ditto when you pressed load, you resume your direct part where you were (logic, tell me, since there is only one backup, no need for intermediate menu!). And in the end, you have a screen with written congratulation, and if you pressed the echape, the game is leaving... and the other keys do nothing! Speaking of the end: the end boss is no brain, you turn in the arena to avoid the adds and the shots of the boss and you empty your loader...
But yes, I still had a nice time. It's pathetic, isn't it?
