Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour reviews and comments

Although worst than Megaton Edition, the 20th Anniversary World Tour has its highlights: the new 5th episode, and the improved lightning.

Summary:

+++ 5th episode + improved lightning
--- Clunky controls + pixelized graphics (somewhat similar to the original, worst than Megaton Edition) + new duke talk is rubbish, way worse than the original

It's Duke Nukem 3D! I can always recommend that! The Thing about "Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour" is just that it brings in too little new Stuff for the Price. A new Campaign, a Rewind mode and Developer Comments are a little too little for me to justify the Price. So If you already own the old Duke Nukem 3D, you can almost omit this Game here. If you don't have the old one, I can only recommend it here! "Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour" is NOT a bad Game! On the contrary! The Price is just not quite as justified. Prefer to Wait until it's in the Sale or something.

Bonjours has all I give a review of this games that I had preorder, the 1st level not change its fact recall the good time but the trick I blame it is that I little not exceed the beginning of the 3rd level because I finished the end of the 2nd with 14% life is of the blow when I start the 3rd I die direct since I landed from a height high enough to die direct (it's ugly) I hope that they will quickly make an update to settle all its, I it is not if it should recommend this games maintenan in here a Maj or if no need to finish the level with at least 50% of life to pass the next quiet and I also notice that I have not find the backup point or else I have to backup myself manually I have no idea I'll see its otherwise it must be does all DEP the beginning (the fleme!!!). The multi is very empty at the moment I find only one part, but gives the area not interresting at all at first sight. Ah yes have can play in full HD (1920x1080) but not higher is already good.

THAT GAME from my Childhood, countless Hours ricocked, never regretted! For me, a very successful Reissue of the Original from 1996 with the typical Duke flair. Not Expecting a Marvel of Engineering, Duke is as it was with "slight" Improvements in Terms of Graphics and Control. It was already edgy at that time and the Control difficult, a advantageous Control with the Mouse at that time almost impossible. I am All the more pleased that the Movement and Aiming is now so loosely done with WSAD & Mouse. What does it bring: Episode 1-3 (Duke Nukem 3D original) Episode 4 (DN3D-Plutonium Edition) Episode 5 (NEW with new Enemies and weapons) Duke like 20 + Years Ago New Sprey Optimized Control and Graphics runs on Current Operating Systems What's Missing: More Time, Bie r and Chips ...;-) For me, a Compulsory Purchase already because of the old Days when you still had to wire two PCS with the serial Cable in order to be able to do a Deathmatch. Was not deceived and would buy it again immediately, especially at Steam-Sales with-66%. ;-)
