MU cartographer-experimental game of discovering a world what makes the interest of this game is its original and unusual side. You use a machine that allows you to discover a world. Play on the different levers to change the color of this world as well as its topography. Your goal is to discover treasures but also hidden mysteries in the world.
It's kind of the equivalent of a walking Simulator, except that there, instead of walking, you use a machine!
If you are a fan of experimental independent games, this game is for you!

MU cartographer is an adventure.
An adventure in the first sense of the word: we don't know what we're going to find out.
The exploration in the games has always been something exciting for me, because it explores as much a universe as the rules that govern it. This game is exactly that. We imagine, we test, we assume, and then little by little we understand, or one understands: the world in which we evolve, the tools that are available, the rules that govern it.
MU cartographer is asking for patience. Not because it is hard, or because you have to start over a thousand times a passage to get there, but because the work takes its time. Nothing serves here to run, observation, attention, are the main qualities required.
And above all, in a world where we are constantly infantilized by explaining everything, when the games become gigantic tutos, it is good to finally find ourselves alone, facing oneself, and fail a little.

We start without a tutorial by a relatively austere interface, full of buttons on which one presses and pots that one rotates. We realize that it causes things on the screen (or not, depending on the buttons) but it must be said that we still have a little trouble to understand what we can be doing.
And then we discover one or two things, we start with a little idea of what all these buttons serve, and we get carried away by the psychedelic animations under our eyes and the music of ambiance: it's been a half hour that we launched the game and we are thoroughly ! An hour and a half later, mu has almost no secrets for us, those who remain, we know where to look for them. The last half hour is a little bit of a blow: past the surprise of the discovery, the game does not offer any incredible gameplay.
Remains that for those who would feel the adventurous soul, ready to test games a little UFO on the edges, a meditation experience (let's be clearly carried by the game) quite singular, Mu cartographer is quite recommendable.
