About

Spiderweb Software's classic adventure of treachery and battle in ancient times has returned! Travel back to ancient Britannia for a tale of cunning foes, vicious battles, and a race to rediscover the lost secrets of magic.

Britannia is a land ravaged by war. The natives of this land, the savage Celts, have long been subjugated by the Roman invaders. At last, they have risen up in bloody rebellion. Battles rage across the land. Cities are sacked, the inhabitants massacred. And, lost in the chaos, in the small, forgotten valley of Shadowvale, a plan is being formed.

Soon, a band of barbarians will rediscover the lost secrets of magic. They will find a way to rid their lands of their oppressors forever. And you, as the Celtic warriors, will attempt to free your people.

Or you, as the Romans, will attempt to crush them. For the good of the Empire.

Key Features
  • Two different sides, the powerful Romans and the savage and cunning Celts. Each side has a completely different full-length adventure.

  • Fascinating storyline. Fight for freedom, or further the glory of the Empire.

Nethergate: Resurrection reviews and comments

A Game like a System error. The "Sound effects" are actually the same as if my System wants to report an Error. The Game reminds me of 1998, when a nerdic Classmate Programmed a small RPG. This was significantly better than Nethergate. But Nethergate? No Animations, no real Sound, no Interactions, no Action, no gameplay, no Humor, no Nothingness. One runs through the Area and marvels. You marvel like a surprise trip to the Stone Age. A potday Stone Age. Verdict: The "Game" is not worth wasting your Time on. If someone offered you money to play this Title once, stand firm, says no!

Short and crisp my Experience: The first Hour: "Oh my God what did I buy there, I don't want to read, I want to fight. And this Graphic only ... " The second Hour: "My God, I always meet the wrong Opponent. Man ey ... Now the already dead * Playoff store * God I hate fighting "The third Hour:" Cool, a Fire spell. Try it Out again ... Boa is the strong one. On into the Wilderness, continue fighting "The fourth Hour:" So, enough Opponents finished, I want to know where the Main Story continues ... " The 16th Hour: "Have I been Playing for so long? Never mind, I have to get on. Nethergate is counting on me! " The dates are not so accurate, of course. But I predict anyone beyond the first Shock to get lost in a beautiful World. (I recommend running medieval lishy-/Celtic Music in the Background)

No German Reviews? Well, it might be because the Game never came out in Germany. It's a classic Game you have to love. Field by Field, we can run forward and explore our World. In doing so, we can also switch to Combat Mode, where every Step can be better planned. Definitely a great Thing:-Old-school Role-playing! No Quest Arrows, no Help, no Teleports to everything and everyone! -Very good Story and loving Quests-Choice between the Celts (Higher Magic) and the Romans (Higher Weapons Skills)-the History and The reaction of the Environment to us is completely different depending on what we play! -Wide range of Weapons and Abilities, plus the Magic-High Gameplay! -Good Dungeons, hard Opponents-Self-humour-Finally instructive, since details of life at that time are also discussed. -For the Fun and the many Hours that can be won out, the Price is justified! I myself dusted the Game off for £0.99per and am happy about it. -Any Amount of Decisions with Consequence Not so great:-Until now, I really didn't care much, apart from possibly the Running and sometimes hours of Searching for a Quest-No Car Storage. From me there is a Buy recommendation and in addition the Advice to always save.
