About

Out There Somewhere is where Portal puzzles meet retro platforming. It begins with a scrolling shooter level at which you pilot a spaceship, but the main part of the game is completely different. The player controls the protagonist named Yuri, who crash-landed on an alien planet and is searching for the villainous Grigori who destroyed his ship. Yuri is armed with a portal gun, a device that will teleport the character to where its projectile hits a wall. Unlike in Portal, you can teleport to almost any surface as long as it’s a solid object, the transportation is instant, and there are no lasting “doors”.
Each level in Out There Somewhere is a small puzzle maze with an exit on the other side, and the player’s goal is to figure out how to get here. Yuri can “shoot himself” across the lava pits toward the other shore, through narrow corridors, or away from the villains. Initially, it is all about reaction, but eventually, the game introduces more complex mechanics, such as laser beams that divert or alter Yuri’s shots, and a regular gun that allows you to fight enemies. Out There Somewhere is stylized as a nostalgic 8-bit NES game with pixel-art graphic and is accompanied by a chiptune soundtrack.

Cheap but awesome GRAFIK 7/10 It's 16-Bit graphics that are very beautiful and detailed. GAMEPLAY 9/10 With lots of different Puzzles and Jump and Run Insoles, the Game is varied and a Lot of Fun. SOUNDTRACK 4/10 The Soundtrack is quite okay, but at some point it annoys the Soundtrack. Final Word For everyone to recommend. It's infinitely fun and for 0.99 Cents it's definitely worth it. With the best Game I've played in my Life! First of all, the Positive: Ingenious Music, fun to listen-> There is also the Soundtrack free of charge. Beautiful Retro-optics, even for me, who is not born in time, it just looks top! Good Achievments. Some are a bit tricky, but you should manage after a few Times (100% juhu;D) cheap Price, usually 99 Cents, have bought it for £0.24. Gives another Steam game for free (with me not: Wrong email Address uses Steam Collectible cards, you can make profit with the Game:D (So far) six Hours of Play for €0.24negatives: Where is the second Part? Or a DLC? I need that right away:D All in all a great Game! 10/10!

8/10 Portal meets NES Out There Somewhere (2014) is a short Puzzle Platformer and First Work by Brazilian Studio MiniBoss. They play Yuri, a little heroic Cosmonaut In Search of Villain Grigori. With the Help of Your Portal Gun, You can make your way to Grigory and also a Way to escape this Planet. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=431071554 Control You can control the Game with a Gamepad, but personally I think the Keyboard suited up better for this Game. Game Behavior The Duration of the Game is about one Hour, The second Game you will need to take about 20 Minutes. But don't let the short Playing Time dissuade you: The Puzzles are well thought out and require not only a clear Mind but equally good Platform Skills. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=431291620 Bugs and Problems On weaker and older PCs, this seemingly weak Game will falter more often, likewise you won't be able to shoot fast enough on affected Computers, which Is what the Achieving an extra heart to Trouble it will still be possible if you think around the Corner and make it impossible for you to achieve the Teleport Machine Gun Achievement. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=431066713 Conclusion Verget Not a bad Game and definitely worth his Money. The Puzzles are extremely tricky At First, but platforming with the Portal gun Quickly becomes too frustrating for Non-hardcore Players.
