Perdita (Luke Wells)

Perdita is a mechanically 2D game set in a 3D environment. The player finds themselves on a snowy planet with nothing but their AI friend to keep them company. They are challenged to fight their way through hostile robot battles with an array of optional guns to find a way off the planet. This game originated from the minds of our lead programmer and our lead artist. This was the big major project for the year and I felt gave me a unique opportunity to experience such a circumstance. I got to read and understand another group of peoples ideas and collaborate with another designer to create a mechanically sound game.
