GAME FEATURES
Protect the Chibis!
Evil monsters have invaded the peaceful Tiki forest!
Protect the 20 Chibis back home at all costs!
Waves? Like Surfing?
Monsters attack in several groups at a time, like intermittent waves.
The number of "waves" may differ depending on the stage selected.
Fire Away!
Use magic to transform the trees around you into towers that attack the monsters.
These towers cost hard-earned coins and gems to build.
It seems that even magic requires money to use...
Unlock Stages
Oh! Looks like new numbered plates appear near altars when you successfully protect the Chibis within each stage!
1... 2... 3... And they seem to appear in order, huh.
Rainbow Fragments
If you protect all your Chibis, you get special rainbow fragments as a reward.
Collect them all to visit Tiki houses in other areas!

PixelJunk Monsters 2 reviews and comments

Translated by

We have played the first Part and or Tower Defense Games like, Pixel Junk Monsters 2 will love! We searched the first Part together for two on the PS3, a typical couch coop game. Here is a Video about the Game: (Please Read review, as there is a lot to complain about!) Https://youtu.be/Yw7EQ-AiukA We had already tested the Demo in advance and were somewhat disappointed by the Camerawork at the local coop. You can't zoom out and there's no Dynamic Splitscreen. This means that if the second Player strays too far from the first Player, the player will be teleported to the first Player. So you can't really split up so that everyone can play a certain Part of the Level. That's more than a Shame, in the first Part the Camera drove out further to give both Players a better Overview. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed with the Release Version, all with the old as well as the Demo! I had already decided in Advance to buy two Versions so that everyone had a better Overview and so that you can split up. After all, the Game also offers an online coop Mode. Unfortunately, in the second Part (Day of Release), the Fun of The game is also very much clouded in online coop Mode! The Problem starts when the second Player joins. When I host a Round and invite my Wife, the Game loads with her, but in the end she ends up alone in the Game. Now I have to keep the Host Round open and my Wife has to look for my Host Round as a Guest. This is also found and only now does accession work! When I create a Game, but I don't invite her and she's looking for my Host Round, then she doesn't find my hosted game. So always invite first, wait until Player two spawn alone and then look for the Round again! This is more than annoying and elaborate! However, it is now even worse! At the Beginning of the Host Round you have to decide on a Level and a Level of Difficulty. Then everything worked out and you finished the Round for two, that's how it was! You must choose a Level again and invite the Player back in, as the Player has flown out of the Round. Let's face it, what's The Crap! In the local coop, you can both play the Levels together as a couple and walk around the World. Online, you can only play the Levels. Would not be so bad if after every Level the Players were gone and had to be invited again. A permanent Party would be Desirable here, where only the Host has to select the new Level and off you go! It would be even nicer if you could actually enjoy the whole Game for two, as in the local coop. Verdict: The Game itself is good, it's a lot of Fun animal. The Graphics are good and the Levels are sometimes not too easy. You have to create the Round of Perfect, that is, without losing a Chibby, to earn a Rainbow. With these Rainbows, more Sections of the game can then be unlocked. Thus, the Motivation is also available and a longer Fun Is guaranteed. I would also recommend the Game without hesitation if these Restrictions were not in local coop or the online Mode worked better. As a Solo Player, you can already access here without hesitation. Anyone else who wants to gamble in coop Mode, I would advise you to wait a Bit and hope that the Developers will still be fixing a lot by patch or Submitting functions (zoom in local coop). So we only make a conditional Recommendation for the Game. If you can Live with the Restrictions, you will also have a lot of Fun with the Game! Unfortunately, since we can only give a Thumbs up or down, we chose the Thumbs up as the Game itself is Fun. But we would Rather give a neutral Rating! Many Greetings 2zocken
