About

PIXELMAN is a retro styled action-filled, endless-flyer, high-score chaser, where you control the title character in his mission to rescue the citizens of Pixville from the evil Baron Von Pixel and his contraptions.
In PIXELMAN you need to keep your combos going to be able to make it into the online leaderboards!

The citizens of Pixville are counting on you!How to PlayControlling PIXELMAN is very simple: you press and hold to go up, release to go down, and you can also use the pad to move faster (but with less accuracy!) Your goal is to rescue the citizens (humans and their pets!) to keep your heroic energy up, and also avoid crashing into buildings, traffic, and Von Pixel’s weapons and traps.
If you don’t rescue anyone for a while, your heroic energy will go down; and if it reaches zero, you´ll lose your powers and fall!

XBox 360 Controllers, Mouse and Keyboards supported (We truly recommend the controller).
CombosEvery time you rescue a Pixelian, your combo meter will go up. Once you’ve rescued 5 in a row, your score will start to multiply! BUT, if you fail to rescue a single soul, you meter will deplete, and you’ll have to start all over again. Keep the combos going for maximum high-scorage!
Power UpsFrom time to time, you’ll come across a present box. If you grab it, you’ll activate the power up mode! In this mode, your score and combo meter multiply, your speed goes up, and you can’t get hurt! The bad thing is, it only lasts for one hit, so you better watch out!
PIXELMANHe’s Pixville’s senior superhero, his superpowers are flying and untying knots really fast. He also loves podiums! His main weaknesses are buildings, bombs, lasers and missiles… nothing that a good power up can’t fix!
PIXELGIRLShe’s Pixville’s new superhero! She’s pretty much like PIXELMAN, but faster and cooler! Once you learn her quirks, she’ll start racking up points like nothing!
Baron Von PixelPIXELMAN’s main antagonist is a mustache twirling villain who hates everyone in Pixville. He managed to buy a few rusty WWI weapons on Craigslist, and he’s not afraid to use them! His main hobby is to tie people up and leave them on top of buildings, trees and cars. Only PIXELMAN can stop his devious schemes!
PodiumsWhat’s a superhero without a podium to stand on? In PIXELMAN you start on top of a sad soapbox, but to show their gratitude after being rescued, the Pixelians will start building new podiums for you! Can you unlock them all? Are you the hero Pixville needs? Or the hero Pixville deserves? How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Online LeaderboardsThe game doesn’t have an ending. You can play until your eyes bleed or the speed goes so far up that you can’t control your hero anymore! The goal of the game is to make it to the online leaderboards. And in order to achieve that, you need to maintain your combos going. If you have a high combo and you manage to get a power up, you can make over 1000 points for just one rescue!
AchievementsCan you slalom between 50 rockets? Can you survive over 5 minutes in one gameplay? Can you reach over NINE THOUSAND!!!™ points in one game? If the answer is YES, this is the game for you! We have 20 achievements ready for the hardcore PIXELMAN players to show their skills!

PIXELMAN reviews and comments

Pixelman is a small arcade game and scoring very pleasant and fun to play, its retro side has brought back to the surface my years high school where I was drying math classes to spend my pocket money on the arcade terminals at the corner Bistro. As for the games of this time, the grip is very easy (note that it is better and more enjoyable to play on the gamepad, but nothing prevents you from using the keyboard/mouse combo), and the first goal is I would say to do its best , try again and again to surpass themselves and try to rank in the top 10 on the leaderboard. In the beginning you play as Pixelman, a flying superhero tasked with rescuing the citizens (as well as their company annimals) from Pixville torn by the attacks of Baron von pixel's minions. Then you can unlock 2 other characters: Pixelgirl and the mysterious (and very difficult for me) Pixelninja. You will have to do, cross 3 levels to different sets: first a small village with the appearance of Wild West where you will even have the opportunity to wear a cowboy hat provided to be skilled enough to catch it in flight... If you reach the end without scratching against a House and without getting killed by the planes or jeeps that are on your tail, you will then find yourself crossing the big city with skyscrapers and dense traffic... To finish it is beyond the clouds, very high in the Galaxy that you will finish your journey. If you just go ahead without saving anyone, your hero will slowly lose his energy and eventually die, save as many people as possible without missing one. Uh, is that possible? I do not know, can be LOL my maximum was 110 combos. You can also recover powers up that will allow you to either advance faster (but beware at high speed the dangers are harder to avoid), or will give you immunity for a certain period of time. When the species of atoms that seem to dance in the air, they will allow you to shoot the enemies. At the end of each world, there is a boss to fight in an impartial time. You will have the choice between 3 levels of difficulty: easy, normal and hard but they will unlock as and when. If you managed to defeat these 3 difficulty modes, you can then tackle the endless mode, which is also 3: one for each world. In the options of the game you can also increase (or decrease) the speed of advancement of your superhero or heroine if you are in lack of challenge... What more to say, the pixel art graphics are very pretty and the annimations are cute and funny, the music and the sound are OK and not taken head. Successes are well suited to the game not always easy but not impossible either. To summarize PIXELMAN what is it? A retro arcade game, addictive, fun with a good little dose of challenge that requires a lot of attention, reflexes and dexterity. We will not be glued to it several hours of sharp (though...) but we can not resist the urge to go back often to surpass oneself, try to beat the records of his friends and who knows how to arrive may be one day at the head of the ranking. For me it's done!!! yesss I got the 100% and ranked first in the arcade mode!! For how long I do not know but I would not let myself dethrone as easily, I monitor the scores Hey hey if you want more ratings visit my curation page
