This Game cost me hours of my Life. But with techn. current Calculator, this Game is not recommended purely graphically. Unfortunately, the Charm of the eährned XP Times does not come across at all. Pixelig without End, bad Details. Certainly playable, but whoever used to play PR2 should not be carried away for emotional Reasons to load this Game. The fact that this is not mentioned here is a real shame. The 3.99 with Win7 are otherwise better laid out.

PR2 is one of my favorite games and will forever carry a beautiful Place in my Heart. Unfortunately, the Steam Version can't play anything of that good Feeling. If a game on Win 10 no longer runs you can patch it in any way or take it out. Add to that when you get it started the och you have a lot of graphics errors!!! What a pity!!! If you call a Windows XP recher its own, you can but can safely train ... Because one thing is still certain ... When it's running makes it fun!

HI, I'm a Fan of Build-up and Trading Games. First I had the Problem that you couldn't start the Game under Win7. As described here many times, I have tried to change the Compliture mode. This helps me so much that I could see the Sabre Courser but the Game Crashed immediately. That's why I had made myself smart on the NET and read that you have to renal the WMV Intro, Ascorn and Nvida because they probably cause the Crash. And See where it works. I hope that this will allow others to start the Game MfG

For my Part, I really like the Game. It offers a very interesting Concept. The Aim of the Game is to build your own Trading Empire or become a dreaded Pirate! One fights in the Game against other Cities and Ships and increases with his Revenues the own fleet or builds his Cities further from Positive is: + Big Card + Very good Trading System + Many Possibilities + Good Naval battles + Good Quests + Beautiful Side activities + Good Diplomatic Possibilities + Very Good Price! Conclusion: I Recommend this Game to all those who would like to achieve Wealth and Power once in the 17th Century! So all Hobby Adventurers and Colonists. For this very low Price you get an acceptable Game. Due to the value for money I Recommend this Game.

Pure Nostalgia (~ 500 Game hours on my old CD version) and to this day one of my favorite strategy games. Clearly, in Times of 4K gaming, you're no longer used to an unchangeable Resolution of 1024x768, but that's not to obscure the beautifully drawn Sprites, the great Gameplay (whether Merchants or Privateers) and the great Atmosphere. P.S: I really don't know what the other Reviewers have, but with me, the Game works smoothly on Both Win7 and Win10. The only Complaint I have is that on my Gaming PC (I suspect what to do with performance) the Scroll speed on the Side Edge or with the Arrow Keys is really extremely high (which is not the Case with my Laptop, for example). However, using The middle mouse button has turned out to be a good work-around!
