Primary Objective: Happiness is a short digging game about exploring and looting a small world and obtaining true happiness: freedom.
The goal of the game is to sell enough artifacts and gems to one of the two buyers above ground for them to help you. There may or may not be some other ways to obtain freedom. Possibly rather broken.
Unfortunately music didn't fit the schedule.
The game was created in 48 hours for #mizjam1 using Kenney's amazing art kit.
Controls:
- W/A/S/D to move (there is no jump)
- ESCAPE to pause the game
- R to restart (costs coins)
- SPACE to dig in the direction your facing (left, right, down)
- LEFT SHIFT to activate magnetism (works on gems/artifacts/coins)
- F to place a ladder (costs coins)
- Q to place a torch (costs coins)
- E to acknowledge a message box
