Purple Rock

Explore an alien world in this 2D game. Collect oxygen to survive, combat enemies, and discover the world's secrets.

This was a group project for the Game & Interactive Media Development course at Friends of Design - Academy of Digital Arts. 

This project was especially enjoyable as the 2D format in gaming is a classic. I was responsible for the level design and layout, placing emphasis on exploration and challenging the player to find a bunch of secret spaces.

Additionally, I was placed on the scripting team, developing the inventory system and world interaction as well.
