About

Ravenswood: Shadowlands is the second installment in the Ravenswood series and the sequel to Ravensword: The Fallen King. It is an open-world fantasy game reminiscent of Gothic and The Elder Scrolls series. It was one of the first notable RPGs designed for iOS, although the game is also available on other platforms.

Plot

The story is set in a medieval fantasy world of Tyreas and follows a customizable protagonist. At the beginning of the game, he or she fights in the Battle of Heronmar against the dark elves and trolls. An earthquake erupts, killing all combatants except the player's character. The protagonist awakes in the city of Aven, revived by the local healers. Eventually, the protagonist meets Archmage, who sends him or her on a quest of the worldwide importance. The character has to gather artifacts called Ravenstones to open the gate to Shadowlands, the world of demons. There, the protagonist will have to kill the demon king.

Gameplay

The player controls his or her character from the third person view in a 3D environment. The world of Ravenswood is open for exploration. The player can accept side quests or even go hunting to gather food and experience. When the character levels up, the player can use experience points to improve the protagonist's skills and attributes. The character can also learn some of the skills by repeating them. There are no character classes, and the character can become a warrior and a magician at the same time.

Ravensword: Shadowlands reviews and comments

Ravensword Shadowlands is a Nice and quite successful RPG for in between. The Graphics remind you of Oblivion and the Game is a Little More Unspectacular than this, but it should not be forgotten that the game is a Port of IOS devices to the PC. So let's say the Game was designed in a primeval way for Iphone, Ipod and Ipad, but it makes a fantastic impression and the Port has been very well done. The Graphics get really well approach to oblivion, and since it's an IOS porting, there's not much to do as in other RPGS but the world is big enough and it still makes a lot of fun, just because of that feeling, what you get If you played Oblivion. Due to its graphics it has a certain charm and that the world is not too big does not disturb either, since everything still fits together. But I would have liked to have done a little more, I would have liked to see it imported, as well as more setting in the Dialogue, but that is not too disturbing now either. The only important thing is that it entertains and it does. 7/10 score there from me and I can recommend it to anyone. Whether he wants to pay the Full Price or prefers to wait until it is in the offer is up to you, but I had taken it on offer For Precautions, but now you wouldn't know if I would pay the Full Price. Enjoy it in any case.

So this game is the absolute blast! I am a recognizable "the elder scrolls" fan since morrowind about oblivion and especially skyrim !!! And: it's something of the same kind! Do not forget: it's a mobile game! And as far as that is concerned, the game is really cool! Huge world, loud character where you can buy or sell, information or sub quests can accept! Sensational!!! In addition this varied world with lots of cool creatures! Various weapons, cool skill trees in all genre typical directions like archer, warrior etc and skills like speed, power, armor, luck, eloquence etc! I did not even remember !!! And the last and maybe most important reason why I already love this game: it only costs 5.99 euros and then you have the whole game! Not that idiotic pay-to-win rip-off nonsense but a full decent full version! Many thanks to the developers for such a sensational game, for which I would always count the full price !!!

This game is a research on something that is al Morrowind / Oblivion / Two Worlds etc. for the pad. Fr 4 stars for the research. Alts, the game works pretty smoothly, sometimes crashes on the iPad Mini, but far enough in between to make it playable. The controls are possible to move on, which makes it a little better check, but this type of game is probably better on the PC / console.  The character you control buckets, a little on the screen .. something that is incredibly troublesome to me, would have liked it better if he was placed in the middle of the screen since I more it contributes to the whole game becoming imprecise and messy. Are some typos in dialogues and books something that makes me think that they took bad time to tweak the game. The story is simple, the animations "glitchy" and choppy, AI are almost absent. The small maps are a single mess. Large flipcharts over small buildings, sure that it will work on a small screen, but .. Crescent Moon games should employ a writer or creative writer, idmaker. They have the same problem with the game here as with their other games. Still, I think it's worth 49, - Are many hours of entertainment for the money and as soon as you get used to getting used to the world through here, it's simply quite fascinating.
