About

"Have you ever looked into a mirror carefully? How do you know whether the person looking at you from the other side is yourself or someone else inside the mirror?"

RETSNOM is an inventive pixel art puzzle platformer that allow players to break the map by mirroring sections of the level, and rearranging it on the fly.
You have a daughter. She is unfortunately infected by a zombie virus. The only way to save your daughter is to visit the future laboratory to steal the medicine that is expected to be made by your colleagues. But the future research team is hiding in a maze using mirrors. They've fortified the maze using different features of a mirror in each level.

Mirrors have several features:
  • 1. Mirrors seem to reflect objects left to right.
  • 2. Frost on the mirror's surface makes image invisible.
  • 3. Concave mirrors invert the image upside down.

All of these rules are used to decorate puzzles. Players should understand the way how mirrors flip the world to solve the stages. The ability to bend the world to player's will is a very cool gameplay mechanic, which rewards experimentation as players make their way through this rather sinister world.

RETSNOM reviews and comments

If you accept the graphic, that for lovers of photorealism will be nothing short of a punch in the eye, you can play a title that thanks to an audio compartment more than good will make you spend some hours of full involvement in a higher challenge than the titles "norm Wings "and" driven "which we are all too accustomed to During the first beats RETSNOM could make you get to frustration at its well above average difficulty. If you want to engage in a challenging challenge, equipped with an excellent level-design thanks to the ingenious use of the power of "mirrors", surrounded by a simple but well-written story, you will enjoy an independent title more than discreet as long as you turn a blind eye to 8-bit chart compartment If you are not a long-standing player. RETSNOM is a platform and puzzle game that puts us in the skin of a father who is looking for a vaccine that saves his daughter's life. The manipulation of the stage by means of mirrors that allow us to turn it is the main mechanics of its puzzles. Pros:-The mechanics of the puzzles and their design is fantastic. -The Soundtrack full of classical music is a great atmosphere. -Surpassing it at 100% is a good challenge. Cons:-Visually offers a fairly simple and monotonous pixel art. -The story is something secondary and you never feel protagonist of it, besides without translation into Spanish. -The control with the keypad can become annoying and does not work with any command (for example: Logitech F310). Conclusion: RETSNOM is a game of platforms and puzzles that all fans of the genre (especially the puzzles) will enjoy. The mechanics of the game using mirrors is fantastic and totally refreshing and completing it at 100% will be a good challenge for all puzzle lovers. Rating: 8/10

RETSNOM is a very special indie that can be considered a platform-puzzle game for some well-researched and innovative mechanics. To go forward you will not only have the right timing and the right ability to move and jump, but at the same time, use mirrors that allow you to move in different ways the blocks that will get rid of the road. The difficulty is very high, especially in the most advanced levels as easily intushable, and often it will be difficult to find the right combination of powers to unlock the final door. You Will need to get your brains in the right shape! The Fun Gameplay is finally seasoned with a really great soundtrack! I Recommend with your eyes closed this game! Innovative and fun Gameplay; Good level of challenge; Great Music; Budget Price. You Really haven't bought it yet? Here is the video of a fast gameplay if you want to get a deeper idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ogvCDEimTY P.S.: Do not be fooled by the few hours that shows Steam. I've played so far predominantly offline.
