Save Our Souls: Episode I - The Absurd Hopes Of Blessed Children reviews and comments

More Reviews are available on my Curator Site Save Our Souls is a Third-Person Shooter in a Post-apocalypse. People live in Cities surrounded by Walls. In the Story itself, Heroine Lucy forbidden Goes outside the Walls because she feels enclosed in the City. But Return to the City in the Evening to meet with her Friend Jessie. The two want to make a Girls ' Evening, which is ended by an unexpected Visit. Lucy is attacked by a Battered Demon. The whole City is under attack from Demons. The two Heroines take Arms and are now fighting their way through Hordes of Demons. Gameplay And now you shoot your way through Hordes of Demons. There are a large Number of different Opponents for such a small Game. As Weapons you have a Pistol that does not need to be reloaded, as well as a Machine Gun. You have infinite Ammunition and can therefore just shoot at the Enemies without having to pay attention to something. Shooting Doesn't feel too good, as the Weapons have no scattering or Recoil at all. You can also hit at a long Distance without any problems. In addition, some Enemies drop Souls through which to use a strong Melee Attack. You don't really need this, though, because you've done the Enemies from a Distance with the High-precision Weapons before they're even Close for a Melee attack. You play one of the two Heroines and can change at The Touch of a button. The other is taken over by the AI and teleports back to the Player should it stray too far. In Doing so, the AI likes to run into the Firing Line or just hurl the Player away. Graphic The Graphics are very good for a Game Of this Price range. You can't expect AN AAA Graphic, but it's still very handsome. The Animation, on the other hand, seems very wooden and bad. Clipping through the Objects or simply disappearing characters just aren't nice to look at. There are many Lighting Effects and Screenspacereflections. However, This comes at the Expense of Performance. On my Computer (i7 4790K, 8GB Ram, R9 380 OC) the Game on high graphics always ran below 20fps, which is very noticeable when Playing. However, you should not put the Graphics down, otherwise a lot of visual Effects will be lost. Sound The Weapon sounds sound too weak. As Background Music you can hear a generic Action Soundtrack with lots of Guitar Sounds. The Voice Acting is not really good and you don't understand a lot of Characters due to drunks. There is still Room for Improvement here. Setting Options can only be used to create very simple Graphics options such as Anti-aliasing Shadows or Effects. The Resolution cannot be chosen directly, but only in the Stages from Low to Ultra, although it does not represent which resolution. There are no Options for Audio or Mouse Acceleration. So the Game is far too loud and can only be adjusted via the Windows Mixer. The Acceleration of The mouse is too low. While this helps target, turning the Character Around takes far too long. Conclusion The Game is quite Playable. Especially in a Sale, you can easily access it. However, The Game time is only very short and the Game does not offer any Replay Value. It is a good Basis for further Episodes, however, some of the mentioned issues for these Should be fixed. The short Time was Fun and I myself am waiting for the next Episodes.
