Scanner Sombre
About
Regaining consciousness you smell the damp. Opening your eyes you see the stone walls of the chamber flickering by the light of the fire; you stumble to your feet and kick a helmet clattering across the floor. Slowly the ache in your head begins to subside and you notice the beginnings of a passage. After a few steps the darkness consumes you. Returning to the safely of the fire you see a LIDAR scanner on the floor - a trigger press results in a faint glow coming from inside the helmet. You put the helmet on, adjust the beam-width and proceed into the abyss….
Inspired by Gone Home and Dear Esther, Scanner Sombre is a cave exploration experience. With stunning visuals and a terrifying theme, it is the 6th major video game released by Introversion Software - creators of the million selling, BAFTA award winning Prison Architect as well as Uplink, Darwinia, DEFCON and Multiwinia.

Short but very loving Game. One should expect the Unexpected and take the Time to explore everything thoroughly. The Tension Build-up grabbed me, and I couldn't stop playing it until the End. I still can't quite process the Ending and I have to say that the Game as a Whole is recommended.

Pretty, and especially in VR very atmospheric as well as colorful the Game.
Cave Exploration with a slight Arc Of tension and quite simple and intuitive Control.
If it is about to have 10€ or cheaper then I can recommend it clearly.
For more, unfortunately, I lack a little bit of the Replay value. If you have it through after 2-3 Hours then wars that.
In any Case, however, I liked it and after I received it quite cheaply in a Gamebundle it was for me a really relatively good Evening entertainment that I got for the Price.

Although it only took me 100 Minutes for Scanner Sombre to see the End Credits, I can recommend it. Of course, you shouldn't be averse To walking Simulators.
Due to the new View and The Level Design, an exciting Atmosphere develops relatively quickly without the need for a great Story. Presumably, the Sound also contributes to this.
Unfortunately, my Geforce 660M Ran out of Puff in the last ten Minutes. Framerates below ten Frames per Second Were not Uncommon. Although I am an Introversion Software fan, I keep the Price of 10 Euros far too high. Here everyone has to think for themselves what is worth 100 Minutes of Entertainment.

The whole thing is a cave explorer walking simulator with Paintfunction. You spray the Walls in black Nothingness with Paint to find the Way out of the Cave System. Visually, the Game is kept very minimalist in the Pointillism stalk, but with its bright Colors exudes its very own Charm. The Soundscape is also minimalist, but it adapts super to the respective Situations. The Control Is done with the captured Motion Controllers, which are used to spray the Environment and then teleport gradually to the Exit. In Text Displays, the Backstory of one's own Character and the Events in the Cave are told. There are also small shock or Horror Elements, but most players would have to be able to cope with them. Especially because they are used very sparingly. I can recommend Scanner Sombre to all Players who feel like exploring cave Systems, looking for a quiet Gaming experience and enjoying Bright Colors. I escaped the cave system after 5 Hours of restful spraying and carefully teleporting. At 16.79 Euros, the Game is not really inexpensive, but in my View it offers enough to justify the Price just yet.
