Secret of Mana reviews and comments

Product received for free Secret of Mana was my first JRPG and is still today, my great Love. This Remake didn't destroy my Childhood-but didn't enrich it either. About the Game itself: Secret of Mana originally appeared for the SNES in 1993, the German Translation was carried out at that time on the fast of Club Nintendo-you'd think this time it would be better, but more on that later. Now to the actual Review. Graphic: The Graphics were hung in 3D, the Graphics are by no means breathtaking, but still fit the Game, accordingly there is nothing negative to say here-but nothing very positive. Characters: To note negatively are the Names, whether Hagen, Tura or Aquaria-under these Names they no longer exist, in Principle would not bump up me so sour if-yes, if-one had actually adhered to the Japanese Original this time. But you don't Have here, because the Translation is again relatively free and this time, unfortunately, even worse than the ONE in the SNES original. So now is called zb Aquaria instead of Luka (as in the Original)-Rusalka. Or Hagen, instead of Hagen or Dylack as in the Original-Dulac. On a Positive note, Popoi is gender neutral here and also generally as imagined in the SNES Original. Also, that the Mogrys-Mogrys-are called and no longer Called Zappler, is very positive to note. The new Name of Lufti, is a little too cute for me personally, Flammie would have done it too. Monster: Unfortunately there is something about the Translation again, so the Pogopuschel Are now called Mümmler, but in English always Rabite, a Play on words from Rabit and Bite, which means as much as biting Hare. In the German zb Biting I would have found it much more sensible, as a Mudgewood. But this is only an Example. There are still many Examples, but I don't want to mention them all by their names, also to avoid possible Spoilers. Overall, though, the Monsters have mostly gone pretty. Difficulty: Unfortunately, there is not only the Name, but also the Difficulty. You can now say it would only seem easier to me-since I played the Original recently, I can definitely say that the Monsters here are much simpler and simpler. I'm through the Game within 21 Hours and by no means throughput. My Characters ended up being Level 64, with 2 missed Orbs, almost all Sprites on Max Level and the Weapons-except for those I missed the Orbs-to Maximum. So I have entered the fog volcanus today The Pure Land and was from then on, within an Hour with the complete Game through. So it should by no means be and a Difficulty setting, would have been desirable. Also, Things like the ' ' Barrels ' no longer make sense, as you never really need them to get through an Area, because you have no Difficulty Problems. Even the constant ' ' Missing ' ' turns up nauseous, whether sublevelt or superior-Mobs miss you all the time and you miss even the Mobs all the time. This just seems like trying to drag the Game so artificially-but it's just not Fun. Bugs: Many Bugs from SNES TIMES have been taken over, there are-too-many of them, for Example, if you heal, but in the meantime change the Map-in the next Map, all are dead. Whether you were still cured or had full HP. The Autosave Function, unfortunately, does not make the whole thing better, so there are moments when you are automatically saved, but you are dead when You load, so it should not be. The Game also likes to close, without Warning. Conclusion: Secret of Mana is my Childhood Love, my All-time favorite, the more it hurts me that I have to write this Review just like that. One could get used to the new Translation, if it were not so free again, this time, however, the Charm is missing and so it seems partly only plump. The Remake seems like it's just been clapped lovelessly so the fanbase holds the Flap and Can make Squenix money. This Remake is pretty, but doesn't do the Game justice. It says Secret of Mana is the most popular Title in the Mana franchise, it just didn't deserve such a Remake, the Game just isn't worth its Price. £20maybe, but not a 40. I can only advise anyone to buy the Game at the Sale and NOT for full Price. I cried when I saw Flammie, it just made me incredibly happy, but what came after that was rather disappointing. With a broken Heart, unfortunately no Game Recommendation and that is not due to the Graphics, nor the Translation alone. Thanks for reading it. -Chibzie * * I received the Game for free, but this does not Affect my Opinion * *
I got this game first when I saw that it actually was on the iphone. Though Beginning was fpsen somewhat sluggish, but it was fixed slightly later. May have been iosen or something I expect. The Game itself e there absolutely nothing wrong with, but it takes a while to get used to that inch control (i.e. that your thumb has full control across all sides) so it can of course take a while. Other than that, there are probably no problems I've seen so far. Besides the price... Could have been a little cheaper indeed. I think it might have worked better if you had to direct the way for the character to feel that touch feeling. You almost hoped when you hit the first time actually but alas. Still, I think it e worth to get if you have the money for it. Do not Say that you do not shudder of the music in the beginning though, otherwise you simply do not like this game. Clear purchase, but could have been better control. I still give it full score... Mana e Mana!
