STORYFrom the creators of the award-winning sci-fi game Out There...

In the near future, a paradigm-shifting scientific discovery looms over the world, promising radical new technologies. The world’s superpowers realize they could have the power to destroy the global financial system, wipe out entire countries or even gain access to immortality.

However, this discovery — called “The Sigma Theory” — can only be harnessed by a handful of scientists. You are placed at the head of your country’s Sigma division. Your objective is to ensure that it is your nation that reaps the benefits of Sigma Theory before anyone else.

To achieve this you will have powerful resources at your disposal: a cadre of the world’s most elite covert agents, advanced tactical drones and, of course, your own skills in diplomacy and subterfuge.

It’s a cold war out there, one in which mankind must face up to its future.

Sigma Theory: Global Cold War reviews and comments

Product received for free Early Access Review Sigma Theory-Review Sigma Theory is a Game that is set a little in the Future. You play a Leader of an Agent team and you have to make that Success. The Goal: To develop The Sigma Theory for their Country first and, if possible, not to allow nuclear War (Game Over) to occur or to merge it with its own Nation. At the Beginning, you select a team Of four teams, which you send Around the Globe to hack computers, find Scientists or, in the Past, browse the Diplomats of the Countries what character they have or what they have in the Past. To use this against them. Sigma Theory is about becoming a leader in The research of the Areas to be explored in Sigma Theory: Robotics, Medicine, Finance, Neuroscience. Unfortunately, the other Countries are also researching what makes it difficult to do, because Scientists can be disloyal and also switch sides, it always depends on how YOU behave to you. Your Government will provide you with Drones that you can use as a Tool To kidnap Scientists or get what you want as a bargaining Chip. If you have the Scientists under Control they work for you ... But Beware ... There are also Agents from other Countries who will try to let you off the Scientists again. If you Can Prevent a Mission from these Agents, you can even Torture them to get information. Very exciting made. What I particularly like about the Game! The Game itself is quite simple, but is different in each game, as the AI Always acts differently. In my Passages (for example, have always played Germany), other Countries have always had their Noses at The forefront of Sigma Research. Are Countries Losing their Connection from Research ... And that is also the Aim. To get Sole Control. Be that as it may ... The Game is already worth replaying because the AI always proceeds differently ... I think it's Super. The Tension of the Game is also steadily increasing. Because when more and more Countries have left, you know, it's going to be tough, because only the Hardline Countries are left that have already done a lot of research. In my last Pass, for example, Japan had all The scientists, which is why we first had to lower the Alert Level in that Country. A Problem, because that'S how Japan was able to continue to do research. After we kidnapped the last Scientist, Japan has used what is world-shattering and also used in the Field Of Robotics ... Zack... Doomsday Clock on after 12 and Nuclear War (Game Over). Very annoying, but it is still Fun, even if you lose before the End and already think you have been on the safe Side. I can definitely Recommend the Game to Anyone and encourage me to make it a lot of Fun and I will certainly spend a few More hours with this Game. Rating: 8.1 out of 10 Points
