Solitary Night

Solitary Night is a VR experience about self-discovery and healing. This piece creates a poetic virtual conversation space that invites the audience to freely explore and imagine the stories in the space.

"What we are really doing when we are roaming this room is thinking, even if we don't leave our room, it's a journey. In the end, we can safely say that we have been somewhere, even if we don't know where it is."

Guidance: 

As a player, when you click "Start" you will enter a room where you can try to move around and explore the entire virtual reality space by using the buttons above the controller. There are many unlit stars in the room and when you interact with the object next to the stars, you can then light up the star next to it, try lighting up all the stars in the room, and see what will happen.

This is an experimental piece where I am trying to learn how to tell stories through VR and guide the viewer through a spatial narrative to create a unique individual VR experience.
