Space Hulk: Tactics is a faithful adaptation of the board game Space Hulk, set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, bringing a unique twist to the cult classic formula. Engage in bloody battles through an immense Space Hulk - a twisted mass of asteroids, wrecked star ships, and debris – as either a squad of Terminator Space Marines or the deadly alien Genestealers. Which side will you choose? Battle through two distinct, narrative-driven campaigns: lead a Blood Angels squad, which you will customise and upgrade as you progress, or take control of the Genestealers for the first time in a Space Hulk game! Space Hulk: Tactics is based on the rules of the popular board game, given a fresh new spin in the form of the unique Card system. Cards provide more ways to customize your squad and allow you to turn the tide of battle with powerful abilities that trigger game-changing effects when used at the right moment. Test your skills against other players in the expansive online competitive multiplayer. Command a swarm of Genestealers or a custom squad of different unit types from one of four Space Marine Chapters available – the Blood Angels, the Space Wolves, the Ultramarines, and the Dark Angels. The game includes a built-in intuitive map creation tool, to design your own original maps with custom objectives, and share them with other players! Space Hulk: Tactics reviews and comments

HI, I give a Thumbs up for Space Hulk Tactics, but there's also room for Improvement. First of all, I would like to refer to the "Map recycling" for random Missions in the Campaign, as this is probably the most criticized Point after Release. It bothers me as well and it's a little incomprehensible why they don't have more, different Maps for these Missions. However, it has already been announced that more Maps will be passed on here and that work will be carried out to repeat them as little as possible. The actual Story Missions are always different and as far as I know 13 per Campaign. That not every Point on the Space Hulk Overview Map is a Mission has surprised me a bit, but I don't think the Implementation is that bad. In the Pre-order Beta I had crashes here and there, but none yet. I found a supposed Bug that has stayed with me 2 times so far, but I have to say in all Honesty that it might also have been a GS card that stole an AP from me. Other Than that, I haven't been able to rock big, mirror-hindering Bugs now. There is not much I can say about the MP yet, as not played so far. As far as Balancing Is concerned, it may be worth mentioning that this is an asymetric Game with regard to the opposing Groups. Means Genestealers play completely differently and may have the less exciting Gameplay or is their basic Tactics to "crush," that Is, to exploit their Overcount. But again I am sometimes cautious, basically that is certainly true, but my Experiences with the Genestealers are not very great. They usually live off the Excess and of which overwhelm the Space Marines. As Far as I am informed, you always play the Board Game alternately, so that everyone plays every Side. Among other things, it also helped me to understand the Spawn rules of the GS. As a Space Marine, you always have the slightly heavier job, must not afford any or fewer Mistakes than a Genestealer player or the AI. I don't own any previous Space Hulk Games (except in EA's 1993 Space Hulk basement:D), so I can't tell if this is better here than previous ones. What always stopped me from Buying, however, was a missing Map editor. The Space Hulc: Tactics and it also works flawlessly from my Point of view. I have already made my own Maps in the Pre Order Beta to better understand the Game and then made it continuously adapted and more difficult until I had created a Map that has already challenged me badly and there is still air up from my Point of view. I also hope that there will be many Community Maps to play with the most distinctive Squads, which increases the Replay value considerably. Space Hulk'S Game system bears a bit Of Resemblance to Bloodbowl, which means that Chance and luck or Bad luck always play along. If that frustrates, that's just not up. If you don't have a Problem with this, you will be rewarded with epic Moments, but also epic ones:D And yes, I can also gain an epic fail sometimes a Lot of Fun:D Space Hulk Tactics has tied me up a good 30 Hours so far, the Bulk of It during Pre-Order Beta on official skirmish Maps. But there are already good player-made maps. In This and in the MP I see the Future of the Game. So far, as I said, the Campaign has remained somewhat below Expectations, but if they improve the miniskirmish map recycle here, not really bad either. At least what I can say about it so far. Have fun-Stun
