Steel Arena: Robot War reviews and comments

Steel Arena: Robot War – Not the worst, but absolutely not necessary game. The tower of the defensive Genre has a long history with a variety of manifestations. This game is a mixture of this very tower of Defensa and action from a third person. In it you have to play for a large combat robot with guns instead of hands. There is only one task Before you. You together with two robots like you should protect the base from attacks of similar robots, only enemy. You will have to Play on a symmetrical map consisting of your base on one side, spawn enemies on the other and a small platform between them. Enemy robots will go to your base waves and with each wave they will become more and more. You are obviously not immortal and can be killed, but the round will not end. You'll be back in five seconds, giving the enemies a handicap. The Round will however end if the opponents destroy your base. At The end of the round you will be credited with a certain amount of money to which you can buy improvements. You can Improve the cannon, which and without it there are several species. Improvements give increased damage, rate of fire and number of ammunition. Then you can improve the feet of the robot, which gives increased speed, health and armor. The cabin and armor plates are Also improved, which gives an increase in health and armor. Along with improvements, you can still change the color of the robot, but this is only cosmetic change. Improvements do not apply to your companions, which makes without this useless companions even more flawed. The game has no actual end, and the interest in it disappears after all the improvements will be bought. The Graphics in the game is made in cartoon, not photorealistic style. However, it is still outdated. In General, in technical terms, the game is made soundly. Serious Bugs, making the game completely unplayable, no. However, a few small bugs have been discovered. For Example, there is a sound in the game periodically. It happens in different ways. Sometimes, after the destruction of the enemy, on the spot where it stood, it remains the sound of shooting. Sometimes It can scare your own shooting sound, but it just disappears. The Most unpleasant bug that has been met by me is that if your base is carried away after you are killed and you have a countdown, you will not be able to press any button, and the countdown is frozen. All you can do in this situation is to turn off the game through Task Manager and start again. However, the progress made after the end of the round will still remain, so that serious problems do not create this bug. In General, it is quite a good game in its genre, which is even able to captivate. This is definitely not the game that I will say that I categorically do not recommend it, in front of it could well be advised to someone. However, I do not know who to recommend it because there are many games in this genre and setting that will be better than this. All I can say is that this is an ambiguous good game, although the price is overpriced.
