Storm Boy reviews and comments
It wanted to be emotional, nostalgic, evocative, forlorn, sincere, heartfelt, and real. It felt like reading a children's picture book with no children.
The story is cute (super sad and disheartening, but cute), and the visuals are beautiful. However, the main issue with this game is that it feels like a demo, and not only for how short it is (20 minutes at most) but instead, the really disconnected gameplay. It feels like a collection of poorly designed minigames that add little to the story, and not to mention the terrible controls.
