You're bored Of action Games that are all about surviving? Good, because this fresh Indie-hit demands the exact Opposite!
Graphic The Game is limited to relatively simple 3D graphics. Everything is in a simple cartoon-like Style and shines through its dazzlingly colorful Colors.
As usual for this Graphic Style. It is used to highlight Clichés, such as the red Nose or the thick Belly of our Well-known Beer Connoisseur. An old Stylistic Device, but perfectly implemented here.
Gameplay The Story is very similar to that of its Predecessor: The Protagonist sits down on the Sofa with a Beer and falls asleep to wake up he has to die in his Dream. This Time, though, he drinks significantly stronger beer than in Part 1, which in Level design causes us to enter much crazier places. Here it is teeming with Monsters and huge Beer Bottles.
Each Level has its own Solution, and it ranges from Time Trials to Platforming or Puzzles. In some Cases, you even have to play the same Level several times to reach the Solution.
It's a nice Sequel to the first Chapter, but you realize it's a different Game, plus you can look forward to a great Final sequence that ties in with and readers to the Cinematics of the first Part. However, The Story is more in the Background and is only the Cherry on the Cake, so that anyone who missed the first Chapter can also start here.
Scope The original Storyline contains seven Levels, but they always show clear Progress in terms of time. Here you can assume 5-30 Minutes per Level. In addition to the Main Goal, the Statue known from Part 1 can also be found in each Level, which shows the Protagonist each time in a different Crazy pose. These Collectibles can really be found here in the craziest Places.
In addition, we also find 3 bonus levels, which have nothing to do with the Main Story, but always play in their own Setting. Among Them the Super Mario world or a Halloween scenario and here you might also be looking forward to more.
Technical The Game runs incredibly smoothly and does not expect much System capacity. It supports many different Formats, even in Window Mode, so you can easily run it on the screen as a small Mini-game on the Side.
I never had crashes, Graphics Bugs etc in my Playing days and it doesn't require an Internet Connection.
Nevertheless, work is still being done on the Game and loading Times as Well as Physics are being improved, so you can expect Updates and bug Fixes here again and Again.
Verdict Suicide Guy: Sleepin ' Deeply is a wonderful Sequel to the first Installment with a little new Twist in the Story. This Indie-name features humorous action puzzles at an almost unbeatable Price. A clear Buy recommendation from me! I'm already looking forward to a next Part!
