Super Skateboardin' (1988)
About
A sequel to 'Skate Boardin': A Radical Adventure', 'Super Skateboardin'' is a 1988 arcade-based skateboarding game developed by Absolute Entertainment for the Atari 7800. It was designed by David Crane, the genius mind behind the Atari 2600's celebrated 'Pitfall!'.
The player decks the skateboard of a humanoid character, as they hastily whizz back-and-forth throughout a massive factory to switch off as much electricity as possible. With time running short, the player is met with multiple obstacles that strive to chip away at their timer. However, with the access to shortcuts (like air ducts) to help traverse the floors, the player can devise a strategy to successfully aid with this gnarly, quick-thinking mission.
