"Switch Galaxy Ultra" is a pure linear Single player Arcade 3rd Person Racing Game.
Through a humoristically styled Comic book story told together arcade racing game, you drive linear Tracks in "Switch Galaxy Ultra."
That alone is enough as a Description for "Switch Galaxy Ultra," with the Story rarely appearing.
The Reason for this is that this Game at Its core seems like it's a Mobile Port.
What is also "Switch Galaxy Ultra," a Port from the PS Vita Via the Playstation 4 to the PC.
It is All the more surprising that there are neither Controllers nor Mouse support for the Steam Version, you have to wiggle through the Menu in and around the Game with the keyboard. Your Flicker can only be controlled with a Keyboard.
Anyone who now expects complex Inputs by Keyboard to control this Game is on the Wrong Track, you can only control left or right and activate the Booster. That's it.
And you don't need more than that, because you can and must only move your Flicker back and forth between parallel Tracks in order to avoid any Obstacles.
In the Course of the Game, you unlock new Flickers, the Values of which can then Be easily Upgraded.
In this way, one is in a linear way from One line to The distance to the End.
From time to time you are allowed to ride a Challange, but by and large this is the Game.
On the whole, it all sounds very negative, reason for that is, I was hoping for more. I thought "Switch Galaxy Ultra" is a Racing Game that is very important when Speed is written. However, you are never Master of Speed yourself, as the Game only lets a Booster increase the Speed by a booster lying on the track.
You can clearly note this Title that it is intended for a Handheld. You always listen to this same Music (for musical Variety you can buy DLC).
This is a simple Arcade Racer, which in itself is OK, I would like this Game on my Smartphone, but not on my PC.
There is simply a lack of more complex Controls, more varied Gameplay and Sound, as well as several Racing Modes. No high Score chases, no Multiplayer or Co-Op complete the Experience that is "Switch Galaxy Ultra."
I struck here on a sale day, but taken it all together is "Switch Galaxy Ultra" overpriced and just too little Racing Game for a Racing game.
Verdict: Anyone looking for a lightweight Arcade racing Game for in between doesn't do anything wrong with "Switch Galaxy Ultra." The Rest is definitely not going to get happy with this Game.
