The Artful Escape reviews and comments
I’ve heard positive things about this game so I thought I’d check it out since before it leaves gamepass. I didn’t really expect to like it and thought em there was a reasonable chance I have it a quick trial and then didn’t finish it. After my
First short 30 minute session I was sold on the game and already knew I was going to finish it. I love the art style and presentation. The music is fantastic. The voice acting and writing is really well done and the story has been entertaining. It’s very different than what I thought it was going to be in a very positive way. It’s still just a walking simulator and walking simulators never have been my genre but this one does seem pretty great.
This game keeps surpassing my expectations. I’m loving the music and the story is funny, clever and unique.
I found the story dragged on a bit by the end but I still liked this more than I thought I would.
Final Score: B

I loved how this game uses topics like finding your identity, becoming someone else and living in the shadows of someone in simple but effective way. I even like the humor of game. Everything you see and hear was amazing.
