The Battle of Sol
About
STORY SYNOPSIS
By the year 2500 Earth had become toxic and unsafe for human life. Pollution and overpopulation had ravaged the planet, forcing humanity to the stars. Colonies and settlements soon sprung up across the solar system, but man had not left its thirst for war behind. Then, they learned the Sun was dying, and everything changed. Only when faced with a threat greater than each other did the nations of man finally come together. The United Colonies of SOL (UCS) was born, its first and only mission: to locate a new home for mankind, safely beyond the doomed borders of our solar system.

Easy too learn hard to master, this is an excellent arcade dogfighting game. Like a mix of "Wing Commander" and "Tom Clancy`s H.A.W.X.". The campaign missions are varied and greatly replayable as you can both better your score or try to beat it on harder difficulities. I greatly recommend it.
Keep in mind this is my early review im about one third into the campaign!

I do not like at all note a game negatively but there is worthy of the player of the attic.
It's very hard to play. I hear, it's BORING to play and not difficult.
There are no lateral thrusters! The slide function is laborious.
The graphics and music are far from unforgettable.
On the other hand the multi faction side is nice:)
You might as well be raving about FreeSpace 2;)
It's really messed up. I took no pleasure in playing.

After spending a few hours on this game, I can give my opinion.
At the moment, I think the game is not a good buy, despite it being out of its early access. I explain, the first part of the game happens correctly, even if I find the sequence of missions too fast and sometimes too simplistic while towards the end the game becomes much more difficult in a surprising way. On the contrary it could bring a plus to the game but one has the sensation of switching from easy mode to hard mode in the space of a mission... Very confusing.
In addition, from mission 15, there are many worries about completing missions and being able to advance properly in the game without restarting the Mission until the dialogue or crossing point finally activates.
So I will wait several weeks before I decide to finish this game for those genes that can lead to ragequit while I am a very patient person.
If not for the most, the game is pretty even if it's not extraordinary, the story is certainly not original but it is present and sufficiently immersive to fit in.
So in the end, I do not recommend this game because there is a plethora of games of this same type doing much better and sometimes cheaper than the battle of Sol. Damage...
