The Detail
About
The Detail, a crime noir adventure in a modern American city.
Controlling the actions of a bitter veteran detective investigating a brutal gangland murder and a reformed criminal trying to protect his family, the player is forced to make tough choices and deal with the resulting consequences of those moral dilemmas. The gameplay focuses on branching narrative mixed with interactive comics, and is completed by a professional audio track.
The Detail combines the emotional impact of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead with the themes of a realistic crime drama like HBO's The Wire, delivered with our own unique visual style inspired heavily by graphic novels. This is city where cases matter, clearance rates matter, and on a good day even justice matters.
The season begins with: Episode 1 – Where the Dead LieFeatures
Now including The Detail Episode 1: Artbook and Official Soundtrack.

Unfortunately not so enthusiastic even though I bought it cheaply in the Sale.
After about 100 Minutes of Fatal error in gc, DuplicateHandle Failed.
So no longer playable, so no Recommendation.

The game was quite nice and intriquing and I wished I would have had more time to play. The length of the episode was good and the cliffhanger made me go "whaaaaa? NOOOOOO not yeeet"... exactly how it should have been. Cant wait for episode two.

Seems To have a very interesting Story. Nothing for People who are on Games with Speakers and a lot of Sound. This Game is open like a Comic seems to have a very interesting Story. One plays here in 2 Roles (Investigator, Private Citizen (possibly Suspect?, who knows so far was or I did not come by missing the second chapter of the second Chapter which I will Soon be sure of. But all in all, recommended so far.

So after playing Through "The Detail Ep. 1 "I can say this: + Good Storyline + A certain Freedom of choice (gives different Achievements, for example) + Schoener drawing Style + In Bundles (since I also bought it) + Makes you want more o Only in English. For Players with very rudimentary English Skills only partially to not suitable-Unfortunately very short, it played through in the first Run in just under 2 Hours conclusion: Worth Replaying to see how other Decisions influence the Game. Very nice for in between.

Great Game.
Beautiful comic graphics, good Story that increases until the End of the first Act. Several People are playable, depending on the Chapter, Decisions have a big Impact on the Course of History. And some Point 'n click detective action there too.
The Music isn't quite my Case, but fits nicely into the whole Setting.
As is the case with most episode-based Games, this Part is very short and with a Cliffhanger that by no means makes the Time to the next Episode seem shorter. But you have to reckon with that.
So In general I Will find the most successful and wait for the next Part.

Vv German Translation of the Game available vv The Detail takes quite new Paths with its Design, although the Game Mechanics are well-known multiple choice Point-and-click. However, there are fewer Puzzles to solve than making Decisions that influence the Fates of all Persons in the Game. Unfortunately, all 3 Episodes together have ended quite quickly-unless, of course, you can do it once more and try other Decisions.
I like the Comic/Foto/cardboard style as well as the Story itself.
In any case, I would recommend it to others.
If you don't dare to play the Game because it's only available in English, I've translated Episode 1 and 2 into German: http://steamcommunity.com/app/319970/discussions/0/606068060824515901/
