About

From the creators of AI War: Fleet Command.

  • Turn-based tactical combat, with up to 5 factions competing at once.
  • Extremely deep simulation of an entire solar system and its billions of inhabitants. Even just watching everything unfold in Observer mode is entertaining, as nations rise and fall.
  • New-player-friendly ramp-up of complexity as you play, which you can disable if you're already a veteran.
  • Eight races each have very distinct personalities and attributes. Each one even has its own completely unique political system.
  • Difficulty levels split between the grand strategy and turn-based combat portions of the game, both ranging from quite casual to incredibly hardcore.
  • Save and reload your game with ease any time, or tough it out in ironman mode.
  • Composer Pablo Vega's best soundtrack to date, featuring 54 minutes of music and the vocal finale "Lay Down Your Arms."

    More Details
Greetings, Hydral. I will be your computer for this "grand strategy campaign with turn-based tactical combat." I think that's code for "we're going to die."

Our solar system is vast and complicated, and I sense you are a little dimwitted -- so I tell you what, let's start with the simple stuff. Like escaping with this flagship you just hijacked from a bunch of angry robots. That seems important.

Please excuse my impertinence, but I believe you are the last of a murdered race, yes? My records note you Hydrals were the dictators of the solar system, so basically you had it coming. And by "it," I mean the moon that smacked into your homeworld. Hmm. So people really aren't going to like you until they get to know you. Well, only you can use the scattered remnants of advanced Hydral technology, so that's something.

Look, I'm not going to tell you what to do. My understanding is that you're trying to form the solar system's first-and-last unified federation, and that's noble enough. But right now nobody wants that except you, and you've got 8 very diverse, very angry races to either unify or exterminate. So... good luck with that. I'll help how I can.

HI Folks, I did a Video Review with a Friend for The Last Federation: Lost Technologies! For a detailed Description and Evaluation of the Game, just watch the Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KITuOgW59Y P.S.: If such a Kind of Review is not allowed here, please just delete it! Thank you very much

If you like Games with small figures doin stuff, love to detail, micromangament and a pause button. Buy it. Long time motivation is given with much to do and explore roguelike style. AAAAND all that in space. WIth Pewpew Lazorz. You have done everythin youcan do ingame, then wait! there is more. A complete community full of mod with new Ships, Species and.. and.. and.. GREAT

NOT suitable For Beginners. Apart from the Presentation, the Game is extremely weak. It may be that there are pretty good Features later, but you can't see that in a matter of Minutes. But a Game should inspire from ANFANG. That's not how it becomes anything. The Whole thing is extremely dull and boring, right from the Start. The few Texts should also be located. Surely that cannot be so difficult.

I alluded to the Game times 2 Hours and was somewhat slain by the Abundance of Possibilities. Since I could often only guess what Actions make Sense, it was more a groping in the Dark than a purposeful play. Since the Game also had a lot of Bugs at first, I want to wait until the Developers have patched it ready. Now Steam is downloading a new Patch every other Day! From my current Point of view, the Game is therefore more of an Early Access Version to Experiment with.

Am actually a big Fan of such free sandbox games (for example, have invested a lot of Time in the Mount & Blade series), but with "The Last Federation" I didn't get warm. The Game is a pure stat grind. Fighting is optional and unfortunately not really exciting. Unfortunately, the two Game Modes are not well dovetailed either-you don't gain Experience or anything like that In Battles, you can't buy better Ships etc ... Maybe there will be more to come later, but at the Moment I can't continue the Game.

After only a little Playing time, it is already clear to me that this Game is a Secret Tip! My Curiosity paid off! Don't be fooled by the-at first Glance-strange Fighting System. If you look at the Videos and "just believe what's being said there," you won't be disappointed: Grand Strategy, Round-based Tactics, Questing and Simulation. All in one and also easy to use! Too bad that there is no Demo version of the Game ... If you like even removed Games of this Kind and the "Space Theme," you should strike now!
