The Low Road reviews and comments

Product received for free I put 6h to finish the game, I think I would have finished it even faster if I hadn't shot on 2 puzzles. So the game is very short. Although I liked the style of the game, I think there should have been more things to do. Contrary to what I was able to read elsewhere, I did not bother to move slowly. The situations are funny, sometimes expected, sometimes not. The investigation will take us much farther than a simple "blue" survey because you'll have a real discovery and several revelations. Besides, I find that the game would have deserved a more worked end, with more information. I removed points because despite the capabilities of my PC, I often had bugs when loading. Which had the effect, of blocking me, because the sequel did not take charge. My full article: http://karmashachou.blogspot.com/2018/09/jeux-video-low-road-steam.html

Then. Between each chapter of the game, there is a title card accompanied by a song, to mark the beginning of the new chapter and to put the atmosphere. One, these title card are pretty cool with some interesting concept art designs. Two, I love songs! The soundtrack is very pleasant and it is available on Bandcamp in addition, go and have an ear. Here you go. ... huh what, the game? No it's really lame. The humor is bland and painfully ripped me off two smiles and a half, the puzzles are mediocre and the story, which promised a parody of potentially amusing espionage, quickly turns into anything. The hero duo is still friendly but when you go back and forth at a snail speed to get a thingy thing to do with the secondary footpegs, all this to lead to a non-joke and unlock the next chapter , it's not enough to save the sinking game.

The low road is a point and click where you play as Noomi Kovacs, freshly graduated in espionage, who begins his first job at Penderbrook motors. Graphically this game is pretty and the scenery very friendly, the music is also very pleasant. The story is quite original and the humor will accompany you all along this game, the lifespan is rather correct counted in the 5h to finish it. However the low road has some flaws, for a point and click I unfortunately found that there was very little interaction with the decorations and objects, so we find with little Enigma and when there are, they are relatively easy. Fortunately what saves a little this side impoverishes in Enigma, are the mini games heads break that add a little more interaction, because it must be said what Prime above all in this game are the dialogues. And here I prefer to clarify it may put off more one, the dialogues are numerous and have multiple choices that should not be taken lightly because the choice of your answers will sometimes have an impact on the advanced of the story. Small problem too, the French translation is not really up to the point, the characters move a little slowly to my liking and we end up with loads every time we go in or out of a scenery, but fortunately they are rather short. To finish the low road is not the best point and click that I could play, but the story and the universe of the game are sufficiently well tied to have a good time. For point and click enthusiasts, this game may disappoint them but I recommend it anyway because I had a good time!
