The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is the third episode of the storyline, based on a comic book series.

The events of the game take place in four years after the zombie virus hit the world. Clementine is an original character from the previous episodes.
She is still alive and trying to survive. She meets Javier Garcia. Javier’s family was taken from him, so he has to find them. Together they find out about the existence of the New Frontier. It is a group of survivors, whose credibility is ambiguous.

Like two past seasons, the third one is a point-and-click adventure. However, in turn, there are two available characters.
You can play as a Javier, who was introduced only in this episode. The player can choose Clementine, but only in flashbacks. You control and direct your character around the environment, explore different scenery elements and pick up and keep objects. These objects can be used to advance the story later.
Moreover, you can begin dialogues with non-player characters. Their answers can give a broad range of choices; it even includes staying silent. The time for making a selection is limited. However, even if the player does not make it, the conversation is not stopping. In this case, it is regarded as you stayed silent. These choices have an impact on later events. There are more action-oriented scenes, where you have to make quick decisions. If you fail it, you would have to restart from the very beginning of the scene.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier reviews and comments

Game: A traditional Quick Time Event Game From The Walking Dead Universe. With a beautiful Story, loving Characters, a bit Of Agency and great Quick Time Eventen. The Story follows on from the second Episode and continues the Story with Clementine and other Characters. (You should have played the first and second Seasons before starting it) Single player: You play Javier who is out with his Family, who meets Clementine in his Gameplay from the first Episode of Walking Dead. You get to know new Characters again and you have to deal with their Idiosyncrasies. You can then Talk to the NPC yourself and think about which one is more inclined towards you and which could be sacrificed in an Attack. You can also move and explore freely in any Place where you are. The Story is beautifully told and keeps everything fresh through the new Characters again and again who comes and goes, is eaten or killed. The Quick Time events are usually quite simple, Directing a Button with others in Combination, by repeatedly pressing one or more buttons or Directing the Stick in a certain Direction everything is needed. Graphic: The Graphics are still very nice to look at even after the Years. Music: The Music is always very suitable for the Situation. Control: The Controls have been with my Xbox 360 Gamepad Super. (I advise everyone to play this Game with a Gamepad) Pro/Contra: + beautiful Story + good Voice + good voice + good Control + good music-Unfortunately a little very short with 8 Hours-STORY and Decisions have unfortunately become very emotionless-NPC which has left the Group reappear in Video Sequences in the Background-plays Did not start, just an Error Message here the Solution: https://youtu.be/r2WZLWcHeNk conclusion: I find it a good Sequel, which does not quite reach the second and certainly not part 1, but still seems very exciting and still emotional. It's just nice to see how Clementine has evolved and is still smashing its way through the cruel World (and by that I don't mean the Zombies). I think even if you played Part 1 and 2 you should definitely give that Part a Chance as well. It's really nice to be there yourself in a Group and make Decisions about what should happen and how the Characters react to it. The Quick Time events are always possible and sometimes drive up the Adrenaline ^ ^. So If you want to risk a Look, you should definitely wait for a Sale or For Humble Bundle, My Playing Time was 8 Hours and has been the shortest Part of the Series until now. Summary: Single player: 7/10 Graphic: 9/10 Music: 10/10 Control: 10/10----------------------------Rating: 9/10

Some choices and responses makes no sense. They decided most for the player and in the end its no diffrence. I would recomend stop series after s 1-2. Its also worse graphic and more freezeframes in this then prevoius seasons. This game is about to become a money zombie itself...

A new frontier is a very good game, from graphics and story to audio. Especially the story is extremely exciting, you always wonder what happens next. Unfortunately, long waiting times of 2-3 months are normal for Telltale games which can be annoying. It was also announced yesterday episode 3 ... today it is not there yet.

The graphics on the iPad Pro 105 are insufficient, it appears rather fuzzy and low-level. Even the sounds are not the best: the voices are perfect, while the sound effects should be redone from scratch. I don't comment on the plot because I practically didn't even start it, but if it wasn't for the discounts, so this chapter doesn't deserve the full price.

For the price and the good story you can overlook the relatively poor graphics and mediocre translation. But that purchased episodes on other devices are not available and that the game sometimes just hang, annoying pretty much. The story and the characters are great, so I'll definitely stick to the series, even if you could do a lot better in the implementation. Then I would be willing to pay more for it!
