The Warhorn
About
In The Warhorn you will get to play as an adventurer, who decides to leave his safe homeland to start a life he always dreamed of. As the only son of a lumberjack you have basic survival skills, which will not be enough to survive in a new world. The willingness to learn and openness is the only tool you have at the start. You will visit dark, dangerous places that will help you find the answer. Key element of all dungeons are puzzles and traps.
Every place has it's own story that you can unravel by taking side quests or reading journals and notes.
Even though the world seems pretty, there are many secrets that you probably don't want to discover. Be ready for disturbing and weird stuff that you will find in the game.
Every place has it's own story that you can unravel by taking side quests or reading journals and notes.
- Explore big open world which consists of 6 theme biomes: spring, autumn, snowy, desert, savanna and jungle. Every biome has subbiomes which feel very unique and in which you will find needed flowers to create potions.
- Resolve various and tricky puzzles. You can try alone but sometimes you will need to gather a friend or two.
- Fight dangerous creatures. All over the world, in different biomes you will face various creatures. Some of them may be neutral, but others are deadly. You will have to face them in order to get needed resources or just to reach your destination. Many times the strongest will protect the most valuable places.
- Learn new skills. You will meet many characters who can teach you everything you need. Sometimes you have to do them a favor, other times you just need to pay for knowledge. In order to survive you have to learn how to use sword properly, but if you are not into melee weapons, use magic runes. You can get them in magic castles - Fireball, Icelance, Light, Invisibility are just a few of many runes that will be very useful in the game.
- Learn how to build and create your village. Invite your friends and develop it together. Create war machines and fight other players. In The Warhorn you can build 2 types of buildings:
- Custom Buildings, which you create by using ready elements like foundations, walls, doors, stairs and etc. This way you can build your home and hide the most valuable items you have.
- Function Building like Blacksmith, Sawmill or Armorer which will help you create needed weapons, armor, potions and all necessary tools to survive and expand.
- Recruit NPC's who will help you develop and defend your village. You can hire:
- Villager who extract resources and bring them to village.
- Warrior who will help you fight with every creature and player in the world. He will also take care of helpless villager exposed to other players when he is gathering resources.
- Gate guard who will protect entrance to your village.
Even though the world seems pretty, there are many secrets that you probably don't want to discover. Be ready for disturbing and weird stuff that you will find in the game.

Early Access Review A very good Game and really well done for the early Stage in EA. Very good Graphics and also a slight Setting in the Menu possible. Great Sound and easy Understanding of the Game.
What I like very much is that there really is a lot to skilly and research. Many Animals are present to produce enough Food. Here and there are still a few Bugs-.-but normal in the early Stages of a Game.
Pro: Graphics, sound, presentation, Setting, Skillaillen, Animals, Landscape, building Menu Contra: Bugs where you lose Loot (at Death) you die and want to get your Loot and it doesn't count properly or is completely gone. In a Cave (Dungeon) you jump on a Board and die in the process. Loses all his Belongings and No longer comes ... Very high Loss has been-.--.-The Animals also spawn again only after a Restart ... Unfortunately-.-conclusion In the Whole: Very great Game and very well done ... Be more than Happy with it:) Thumbs High!!! Highly recommended!!!

Early Access Review Early Access Review First of all, a little forgo: I don't understand the Hate. For an EA Game running 1A, no lagg. Sure it has Bugs etc. EA stop.
The Survival Aspect is not Hardcore. Water and Food are important, usually you always have enough Food. Anyone who explores the World will be Rewarded.
The Combat System is good. Melee, Bows and Magic.
Building makes you really Happy, only it's still some Buggy, but most Works Criticisms Quests: You only get one Text, No Tooltips, marks or other. You have to read and search.
Devs: Me and my Fellow Player asked something in The Discord a few Days ago, until Today no Answer. Is weird like for me.
Server Joinen: I got to start after each start of the Game, to Join the Server an Error. After that, though, go without any Problems.
For me a Buy recommendation, who doesn't like a few Bugs and not working things, finger away and wait. I find the Game makes Whimsy with Ramparts build, Victories Ballista or Catapult. A lot of Potential for the Future, especially as far As PvP is concerned. I'm ATM on a PvE Server, but I also make you feel Like it.

Early Access Review I am positively surprised after 3 Hours.
2 Developers-and so many small Details that make an atmospheric Game.
Whether it's just the already existing Water Sounds, or even the changing Background Music, the Game grabbed me after a short Time.
The Unreal Engine is known to always take some Time in terms of performance and FPS, especially in newer Games, but by Turning off the Shadows Alone, the Game becomes much more fluid-which is a small Hint;)
To the Game itself I can say after 3 Hours: Some Of it reminds me of the new Zelda (Graphics, Puzzles), others of Kingdom Comes. I particularly like this "Comic" style.
There are already Quests you can do, so already some Direction storyline.
Sure, Bugs are spread all over the place, but for the time being I am positively surprised how well everything is going.
Furthermore, the multiplayer servers already work very well! Respect for it! Some large Development Studios don't get it that way. Our Community already has a 10Slot server at G-Portal that works beautifully.
I will continue to follow the Development and am already looking forward to the next Few hours in "The Warhorn."
