About

The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is a tabletop adventure come to life! This fantasy solo RPG combines unique, simultaneous turn-based combat with a journey that changes based on each figurine you take into Firetop Mountain! Which hero will you take into Zagor's lair THIS time? The original 1982 Fighting Fantasy gamebook paperback, written by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson, has been transformed into an epic table-top adventure game, with new areas to explore, characters to meet, and of course, monsters to slay! Zagor's home assembles right before your eyes as you travel deep into the belly of the mountain. Each character has their own motivations for being in Firetop Mountain, changing the way the gamebook is written and choices presented. Combat is fought using the digital miniatures in a simultaneous, turn-based system called GridBluff, and the game includes over 100 unique hero and monster figurines to discover.

If you are not "lover" of the genre RPG or MMORPG I strongly ask you to go to find a better game on steam because this is a game ABURRIDICIMO that seem more a book that a ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I play and if you do not know English prepare to not understand a carajo of what happens in the game and Q EU developers did not translated into Spanish, Texts and texts Largisimos and in the end you do not understand anything as you are so tired of reading that only give the option that is and that is another of the most negative points of the game , YOU CAN NOT MOVE WITHOUT READING THE ENTIRE WIKIPEDIA, Because you have no way to move your character freely by the map no no no, You Have to read each text and every action that can make your character and that becomes super boring and monotone , And it is in plan "I BOUGHT YOUR ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ GAME TO PLAY NOT TO READ" The only good thing I rescue him is the system of combat that although not the best is a proposal rather intereza as the idea of the game but the problem is that they did not know to take advantage , And This well, it is good to be a game RPG but at least you could have eliminated the entire BOOK that were written for each scene of the game and could have placed an introduction narrated with cinematics or something more intuitive which explains the main plot d The game, The truth I only have this game because I bought it with the HUMBLE BUNDLE DOWN UNDER But if not for that or joke paid the original price of this game.

One of the best games I ever played. A perfect mix of gamebook and tabletop, with some roleplaying elements too!

Using an apple smartkeyboard on an iPad Pro 12.9", the homebutton is always on the right side. This game only works with the homebutton on the left side. Because the smartkeyboard does have some special functions I don't want to miss during playing the game, the game isn't playable for me. So wasted money for me.

Coincidence and dice that determine the outcome is essentially nothing that appeals to me so much. A Little more thought and less chance as well as greater opportunities to upgrade their character had probably made the game more enjoyable for my own part at least. Now It felt like a wasted femtiolapp on a game that was erased relatively quickly. Simply not my cup of tea.

Not at all as random as previous review says. It Comes to learning the enemy's movement patterns and planning in advance whose you are going to attack. In Addition, you must move yourself when you see that the enemy will attack. Just going straight to the enemy without strategy is silly and attacking both at the same time it becomes dice. However, there Is No greater possibility of upgrading equipment.

A fun and challenging blend of D&D and choose your own adventure books. Pros: - cheaper than PC edition ( if you dont buy Heroes ) - Interesting combat - Nice 3D art - Free mode, if you just want to see the story and skip combat - Makes you want to replay to go places you missed - Each Hero has a diffrent quest and combat abilities - No adds or gold microtransactions Cons: - Dungeon layout doesnt change - combat can be predictible - small bugs - Few unique stats for the Heroes that are recyceled

... With some significant Changes. Combat System involves tactical Element that is unusual at first but quickly mastered. The Story History is always slightly different from Character to Character, as you sometimes have to go other ways to complete the character-specific Quest, but unfortunately repetitive Over Time. The Goblin extension brings a breath of fresh air. For Fans of the Book Template, definitely a Must if you want to make a nostalgic Trip to Adolescence.
