About

In The Watchmaker, a puzzle-adventure game, players take on the role of Alexander. In his steampunk world of giant clock mechanisms, Alexander’s routine involves repairing his precious clock tower every day, adjusting its mechanisms, oiling the gears and polishing everything down to the smallest piece. For years, this is the only life he has known.

But one day Alexander is awakened by a mysterious voice. This disembodied voice alerts him that something has gone wrong: someone, some unknown being, has sabotaged his beautiful tower. With the clock not working properly, time has gone mad. Consequently, Alexander starts ageing abnormally quickly, leaving him only a handful of time to repair the damage.

Guided by the mysterious voice and armed with a magnetic glove and a bag of time bombs, he must search the halls and arcades of the tower in search of the saboteur. Various obstacles, enemies and riddles buried in the clock’s intricate mechanisms stand in his way. But Alexander must push on to save the clock and restore time to its natural rhythm, all while gradually uncovering the mysteries of the tower and its even stranger past.Features

The Watchmaker reviews and comments

This game is 80% platforms & 20% combat, the platforms are easy, and the puzzles starts to add difficult along the game, the only issue I discover is that the character could use more animations, but I recommend it any ways. I would work on the combat sistem, hope that the developers work on thi soon.

Overall, a very entertaining, exciting, atmospherically beautifully designed Puzzle adventure that captivates and demands from the Start. The Fight against the Final Opponent turned out to be quite tricky, but thankfully the Developer prayed for the Game well and gave the necessary Advice. Hopefully more original Games will follow!

The Watchmaker doesn't take advantage of the magic that he's capable of. His gameplay lacks nuances, while sometimes his premise seems to ignore his own logics. Although it is original in aspects such as time control or certain puzzles, its structure does not show it completely. Anyway, it is a good start for the Chilean study that, like Alexander, must adjust some pieces to make the performance of the gears optimal.

I just love the looks of the game, i dig into steampunk and this delivers a all universe where you can't tell where's the limits. The time management reminds me one of my favourites, Prince of Persia, but with different time-based abilities. The puzzle mechanics gets a little predictable sometimes. The levels are very different from each others and there's very interesting mechanics, as the level where the gravity changes as an alternate dimension. Overall, i'll recomend it :)

Product received for free a disappointment over time. The idea of using time to advance is good, but I do not know if these are bugs, but I often wasted time while I was returning to the regeneration station, but I was losing 10-15 or 20 years ' a shot. and so the following Riddle could not be completed because the difficulty increasing regularly we find ourselves facing important puzzles or dangerous areas for which Sprinter is useless. and we die of old age because we didn't have enough time at first. Too bad because the game is pretty

Product received for free is Not good at all. The first thing you notice is that the game is not minimally optimized: very LONG loads and constant framerate despite the graphics are pretty. The Watchmaker puts in the cauldron many ingredients but creating a great confusion. Time to block, projection of copies, bumper beams, tractor beams... All from immediately and maldestrally. But The real ruin is the platform stage, which works very poorly and will cause many accidental deaths, aggravated by checkpoints put terrible. I played over half an hour, then I didn't make it anymore. I Rarely quit so early but here there are only good premises and zero fun.
