Thief of Thieves: Season One reviews and comments

Product received for free Thief of Thieves is an adventure game narrated and stealth based on the homonymous comic created by Robert Kirkman. It is certainly an interesting turn to the concept of adventure "Telltale" that already becomes old... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LF21bleuw0I More Analysis and criticism here [www.simpatiaporlacritica.com] By the Independent studio Rival Games, creators of the excellent title The Detail (which put this small Finnish developer on the map) We get Thief of Thieves, a bet to reconfigure the concept of adventure narrated several years ago by Telltale. Ironically, the game that inaugurated this new way of telling stories in video games was the series of the Walking Dead, another creation of Robert Kirkman, also the author of this comic. It is published by Skybound, who also publishes the graphic format through Image comics. All These data are used to explain that the transition from paper to screen is TOTAL. Fans of the series will find absolute fidelity of characters and images, as well as the script and narrative quality. The game itself leaves a little aside the constant decisions (although there are many) to propose a gameplay that has a lot of stealth and also some of the typical puzzles of graphic adventure. As It happens in all the "prototypes", it may leave a bitter taste in those who wait for a more defined genre or are fanatical of the adventures of Telltale. It Is noted that this game tries to be a transition, or at least leave the box of not being a mere graphic novel or a complex graphic adventure. It Is supported by an excellent development of characters and a plot that is solid and puts us full in the life of this apprentice thief and his master exempt. Another point to highlight, obviously, is its art direction, layouts and Action menu, Inspiradísimos in the world of comics and that is truly a pleasure for the eyes. However, the aesthetic and artistic decision conspires a little with the gameplay of certain scenarios, which can become a bit annoying in the control of the character. Far from slowing down, the game offers us an extra challenge: not just controlling a main character, but the whole team! (For the veterans, remember the saga "Commandos") at this point in the game bugs and glitches control grow as outbreaks in September and become annoying. Maybe They do not get to overshadow the game completely, but definitely subtract enough to the gameplay. In Short, Thief of Thieves is a very interesting title, which takes the necessary risks to break the mold and that always brings many errors in its execution, but certainly faces them in front. We can Not fail to recommend a game only for some bugs or difficulties in the gameplay, especially when it makes a difference in favor very large if we consider its history, script, design and originality. We sincerely Hope that for season 2 they can solve these difficulties to really be able to consider Thief of Thieves as the game that is destined to be.
