Product received for free on the trailblazers paper was a great idea: mixing racing game and painting battle "à la Splatoon". The principle is simple, each vehicle has a reserve of paint that it can pour to color the track and get a boost of speed when it rolls on its own color. The gauge goes up little by little and it is even possible to empty it in one shot to shoot an opponent and immobilize it temporarily.
So it's all joyful that I launched the game, thinking of spending an excellent evening on a racing game putting for once the emphasis on cooperation. I unfortunately quickly disenchanted. For the positives it's going to go fast, I see only two: the colorful artistic direction is pleasing to the eye and there are quite a few different modes of play. Everything else or almost is missing. The treble sounds are unbearable, the soundtrack constantly gives the impression of listening to the Sub jet set radio, the collisions are immondes, the vehicles are dragging even at maximum speed... It's total boredom.
Online there is no one and even local to four players the game does not take so much it is slow. Worse, since there are no special powers or objects and that rolling in the opposing painting does not inflict any Malus, we end up playing without taking advantage of the basic concept that seems totally underexploited. Too bad, I expected much better.

Product received for free The Concept of Trailblazers is definitely interesting, the Graphics are pretty, the Soundtrack has its Highlights. Unfortunately, the positive one stops here.
Each Vehicle has very poor Handling with three Camera settings, all of which are far too close.
In addition, most Single-player missions are based more on Luck than Skill.
For example, you have to hope that your Team Members do a good Job, Races where you have to reach No 1 Are immediately lost when a Team member is in front of you, you get hit by Attacks you can't dodge, team Members ram Get into Walls and don't let go, and and and.
As a result, the entire Progression of the Single Player in many Missions is pretty much dependent on chance, as I have no Influence on the Performance of my Team and it is even punished if I help my Team too much.
Of Course, this Game has a Multiplayer Focus, which is why this should theoretically be Of little importance. But on The Release day as well as a Day after PS4 release, despite Cross-play after 20 Minutes of Searching, I was only able to find a single Player who left the Match directly after a Round. The... Didn't really be more exciting than the Single-player.
In addition, the PC Port is quite bad, changes the resolution every time The Game starts, resets settings or even has a Bug where it deletes your entire Game score. Has happened to me twice before on three, four game starts.
A perhaps cool Concept that might produce some great Matches in a coordinated Multiplayer. Or just don't. A Waste Of Time.
