About

Tunnels of Despair is an atmospheric horror game with elements of survival where you will have to explore underground tunnels, trying to find a way out and rescue yourself.

You were sent to check on a long-abandoned underground tunnel, which at first appeared to be a standard task. Unfortunately, during the inspection, the tunnel's old arches gave out and collapsed. By some miracle, you managed to hide in a tiny side room and avoid being crushed to death. The way back is blocked; all your stuff is on the other side of the fall. Hopefully, you'll find a way out behind the one and only door you see...

Tunnels of Despair reviews and comments

Product received for free Well and on the queue we have another bagel with a randomly generated level, or rather not quite the level, how many randomly generated items. The Task is one-to get out alive, everything else only secondarily. The Game causes me more questions than answers, but the review will be as short as possible. We're Stocking cookies, and the older PECHENYHA starts. Tired of the deceitful curators who sell their carcass for the sake of a freebie? Come to us, we have the most honest reviews! || Our reviews on the steep site [dungen.ru] METRO, ZOMBIES, LOOT-IDYLL So, the plot is quite banal and simple. Only you can fix the generator at an abandoned subway station, but oh how suddenly the wall collapsed and all your supplies and tools remain behind it, and the only way out is just ahead. Suddenness!!! Suspense!!! Yes, two times. Why am I so unhappy with such a start? Guys, well, we have absolutely nothing to explain about the origin of these zombies and other personalities. The Second question: Where did the products and weapons in the form of Lomas on the ABANDONED STATION? Oh Yes, I hate it when in games your character wants to eat every 15-20 minutes, throw what the hell. If There is a strange situation around you, zombies are going around, strange creatures, like even ghosts and you want to eat... Seriously? Eat? In this situation? I understand that the author wanted to cram everything into a small game, showing what he is capable of, there is a bazaar zero, but the logic of this in the game is not added. The Gameplay initially seems quite interesting, but after an hour of the game becomes quite boring, because in fact the territory is one, change only important for the plot tools. In fact, the whole game can be completed in a matter of minutes, if the story objects are in a row with you, but if they are on the other side of the card outside the unkilled monsters, you can safely recreate the game. Yes, hunger introduces some variety in the game, but, as I said at the beginning, it is done quite silly, because hunger is on the player very often in a small period of time, and who in such a situation would want to eat, Kannybala Lerector? Weapons of the main character is-a scrap that can be found on the subway, although if you have not found it, you can start praying Cthulhu. The Atmosphere in the game looks and feels very well. In fact, it is a closed room, which is crammed with undead, and you have no weapons or the ability to hide, because, on the go, you are a very thick engineer (well, how else to explain the constant hunger). Except for the little things in the form of sensible logic and explanation of what the heck is going on here, the game can go to fans to search for a way out in a randomly generated world (again, the location is the same, change only the places of key items). In General-This is almost everything that can be said about this game, because there is practically nothing else. Yes It is quite interesting in the first hours of the game, but very boring when re-passing, because there are no different endings. We Have a direct goal-to get out through the main door and all... There is no way to simply kill everyone, or go further through a populated zombie subway or populated point, imagining yourself Alice from the Evil Bearer (film adaptation). Graphically The game looks very good, especially if you consider that it is a domestic product (we all know what the quality bar of our indie developers). Models of zombies and other "creatures" looks pretty good, though not without sins. Drawing of the Metro and wagons of locomotives above all praise. And now the main praise to the developer. The Whole project he pulled absolutely himself, sometimes it is noticeable, because there are drawdown in the plot, and in the narrative, even in the gameplay there are minor illogical, but in general it is a really good product, especially for a solo project. Definitely a sample of the pen was successful, though not for all 100%, but the game already has fans, and it is not so bad. The Sound design of the project is not bad, of course there are flaws and does not add to the score nothing new and refreshing. The Main thing that does not spoil and thank you. PROS And CONS Pluses: + Original idea with closed Metro + random generation of objects by job + Good and frightening atmosphere + Graphic component at good level + Average sound Cons:-Fast bored-No possibility Replayability, because the map is not generated randomly-the Presence of hunger though interesting, but absolutely pointless Game is not bad, but to tighten much clearly can not. The Game can please a good atmosphere, and randomly dormant objects. But there is a huge minus: It quickly gets bored (this is my personal IMHO). I Recommend to buy only with a discount of 75%, otherwise you will be disappointed.
