Type Dungeon (jy286)

Type Dungeon combines deck building rogue-like elements with fast-paced speed typing action. Type out words to cast cards, power yourself up, and defeat enemies in the dungeon.

Note 1: we didn't get time to do a loading screen, please be patient at the start! Shouldn't take long (16mb).

Note 2: the game unfortunately doesn’t work with Safari, please use another browser :(

We had a bunch of ideas that didn't make it into this short taster:

• cooler powerups,
• UX improvements,
• pause menu,
• a way to see the cards in your deck,
• a way to add cards to your deck,
• upgrade your cards,
• etc

Hopefully you get the idea :P

Card effects so far:

• Direct damage
• Heal
• Leech (damages enemy and heals you)
• Add shield
• Poison (1 damage every second)
• Slowness (makes letters disappear more slowly)
• Glass cannon (deal double damage but hurt self if you make a mistake)
• Berserk (deal double base damage, take half base damage yourself)
• Word length modifiers (extremely cursed)
