Urban Trawl by Tim Volpe for PIGSquad Summer Slow Jams July 2018 "Urban Legends" - Location-based games

Controls:

• WASD/Mouse or Left Stick: Move
• Space bar or Right Trigger: Fly
• F key or Y button: Map
• Left Shift or A button: Sprint (when unlocked)
• Escape: Return to title screen or Exit game

Collect the 10 coins scattered throughout a section of a real world map.

Collect the blue Map to highlight any coins you have not collected.

Collect the red Sneakers to activate Sprint.

I wanted to focus mainly on the Location-based part of this game jam, and had experimented a bit with the Mapbox plugin for Unity. This was also my chance to work some more with 3D and animations.  I also wanted the ability to just fly and explore your surroundings.

Possible future improvements:

• Improved animation transitions
• More animation states
• Textured buildings
• Ability to choose location
• Better collisions (sometimes items might fall through the map into oblivion, or inside buildings)
• More varied gameplay and/or more powerups
• Better camera controls
