Vines!

Vines! is a procedural platformer where the player must swing their way through a jungle to attain a magical item and get out alive.

Features:

• Beautiful art - Everything was hand-drawn!
• Physics-based swinging vines, each with varying strengths.
• Procedural levels - Each play through offers a unique challenge.
• Epic Soundtrack and Lighting
• An occasional floating hat

This game was built by myself and my partner, McKenna Sandell for Brackey's Game Jam 2023.1.  This was my first time back in Unity in ~5 years, and this McKenna's first attempt at working on a game, ever! We're both proud of what we were able to put together in a few days during our free time.. and that we actually got it finished and submitted on time (despite my best attempts to sabotage us)...

The general game idea was hers and she did all the artwork.

I did the programming and stitched everything together.
