About

Ash of Gods: Redemption is a turn-based RPG that combines tactical combat, CCG elements, and a constantly evolving story in which no one is safe from death, including the main characters.
GAMEPLAY
Ash of Gods is the story of three separate protagonists rising in response to a centuries-old menace once thought to be mere folklore.
Ash of Gods’ storyline is constantly evolving in response to players’ choices, sometimes even resulting in death. But, the death of a character is not game over. Instead, the story moves forward with the death of that character and previous choices continuing to impact future events.
Combat in Ash of Gods is a blend of both traditional turn-based strategy and CCG gameplay. While individual tactics will depend upon the skills and classes of your characters, you will unlock and accumulate cards that have the power to unleash powerful abilities, sometimes altering the course of an entire battle.
WHAT MAKES ASH OF GODS UNIQUE
Decisions with Major ImpactsEvery decision, whether on or off the battlefield, has the capacity to alter the course of events and the fate of your party with major repercussions. But, even the death of your leader is not the end of your journey.
No Random Dice RollsThere are no dice throws to determine chance-to-hit or the force of a blow. In Ash of Gods, true tacticians must master the skills of their classes and harness the powers granted by their limited supplies of cards, or suffer the consequences.
AI that Adapts to YouAsh of Gods’ AI adapts to your style of play to ensure a consistently challenging experience with no room for cheap tactics or invincible team builds.
PvE and PvP MultiplayerWork with a friend to battle the AI in PvE challenges, or challenge other players and compete for a spot on the leaderboards. Unlock new characters, upgrades, and cards to customize your tactics even further.
Rewards for RiskExpend your own HP for a last-ditch attack. Go into battle with a smaller team to get better cards and quicker rounds. Take the shorter, but more dangerous route to save on resources. Ash of Gods rewards those willing to take the risks.
THE STORY
After 700 years, peace in Terminum is about to end. The Feast of the Spring Equinox is in full swing when the town bell begins to ring. Captain Thorn Brenin, the bodyguard Lo Pheng, the scribe Hopper Rouley, and many others, do not yet know that the reapers have returned and intend to drown the world in blood so that they may awaken the sleeping gods.
Written by the award-winning fantasy author, Sergey Malitsky, Ash of Gods is a story-rich game full of memorable characters, powerful dialogue, and deep lore. Malitsky is currently working on a new novel stemming from the events of Ash of Gods.
THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the works of Ralph Bakshi (The Lord of the Rings), classical Disney animation, and the prolific Soviet studio, Soyuzmultfilm (The Snow Queen), Ash of Gods features intricately hand-drawn illustration and animation. Rotoscoping, a technique in which a scene is first filmed with a live actor to use as reference, instills every frame of animation with incredible detail and a true sense of life.
THE MUSIC
The original soundtrack is a collaboration of Adam Skorupa, Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz, and Michal Cielecki, whose previous work includes The Witcher, Bulletstorm, Painkiller, EVE Online, Call of Juarez, and Shadow Warrior. Every track was recorded live by professional musicians, often using traditional instruments rarely encountered in contemporary recordings.

Ash of Gods reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
If you do not understand that Reviews are based on personal Experiences with the Game and can therefore be more negative and sometimes more positive, you should not read a Rewies and get a Picture for yourself. So allude to it yourself. :) Positives:-The Game has a very interesting Story line that makes it easy to keep track of the Course Of the Game because I want to know how to move on. -The graphical Setting is rigid due to the Implementation, but develops a certain Dynamic due to small Movements of the Hair, for Example. It makes the Setting more sympathetic and believable. All in all, I think it has been very successful. -We can make Decisions that affect Morale affect our Group and can also easily change the Story. -The Fight is a typical turn-based Fight. Nothing really new, but I think completely ok and entertaining. Negative:-I hate that so much about Games like this in general. They let you choose the alleged, but you basically don't have one and find the only right Way is via try and error. The other Points relate, among other things, to this. -It's a Role-playing Game. Your Characters will only become stronger through Fights as they gain Experience. So Far so good, but then I get to Points where I would have liked 1-2 More levels for my Group. But leveling Your own Group far away from the Story is not possible, because you can't just say "Let'S kill Monsters for Leveling" No the Story goes on and scön and the Opponents get stronger. If you have not fought in every conceivable Situation, you may lack experience and End. I find that the worst thing about these Games. You can only restart the Story and hope it works next time. -There is a Resource in the Game called Stynx (or so) Which are stones that protect our Group from the Disease. For every Distance travelled on the Map, I consume these and sometimes I am robbed of them due to decision. If I No Longer have stones or not enough, I have to decide who does not receive Stones. Among other things, I save Stones, however, my Companions suffer and I then suffer so-called Wounds. Each Wound gives us a Malus on our Stats and if a Choir already has 3 Wounds, it will die. In itself, this is a great Thing, if it weren't for a Blemish: I get next to none of these Stones. There we would also be again on the Subject of "One has a Choice ... But somehow not "Every Decision would have to be tried until I find the one that earns me these Stones or avoids the ones that pull stones off me. I made every Decision according to my own Conscience, so how I would really act myself, so I think it should also take place in Role-playing games. The End of the Song: I once found 20 Stones and when they ran out of me I was left on the Map only one Way to go. I had to run 3 different Paths that didn't contain decisions where I added Stones. That means 3 Wounds for everyone in my Group. My Stats were underground with these Wounds and were immediately sent into a Fight that I can't win now. That was my 1st Run in difficulty normal. -Dialogue Doesn't seem to make Sense in some cases and I sometimes wondered "Why is he saying this now?" Conclusion: For me, a successful Game if it were to be more fair. Normal Mode is already too Hardcore and if I can't even make my own Decisions because they won't let me progress in the Game, then in my Eyes it's not a good Game. I am only talking about NORMALEN Mode. At Hardcore, I can understand that you have to think more creatively, really try everything to get the best out, but so? No thanks. Important: There is also the "Story Mode" Which is the easiest Difficulty at the moment. According to the Statement, it is intended to ensure that you can focus purely on the Story. I will also test it and hope that it is not too easy, as I would not describe the Fights as demanding until now. I don't have great Pleasure without any Thought to rest. :)
